Jack and Jackie were just starting to unpack their things in their new home.
"What were the Eisenhowers thinking with this decor? It looks like a shabby hotel threw up everywhere! " Jackie complained about the drab and out dated rooms of the iconic house.
"Who knows kid? "Jack continued to unpack the family's things.
"I want to re do it! " Jackie exclaimed.
"Not now kid! We just moved in let's not make changes right away. "
Jackie agreed but she still had her mind on re upholstering everything.
Later that night
"Good night Caroline, good night John. "Jackie kissed her children on top of their heads and have them a big hug.
"Night Buttons, night John. "Jack have them both a high and a kids and sent them up to bed.
Jack and Jackies room
"Its not that bad kid het over it for now. " Jack said as he undid his tie.
"But this place is so hideous who paints their room Brown Jack? BROWN! "Jackie threw herself into the bed. "And bright red floral bedding! " Jackie went on again.
"Kid go to bed the inauguration is tomorrow and I want you to look your best. " Jack kissed her on the top of her head turned out the light, and dozed off into a deep sleep.
Inauguration Day
"Jackie wake up time to get ready. " Jack lightly tapped his wife. Jackie stirred around some and up.
"Alright Jack enough getting me around, you still have to get ready. "Jackie started to push Jack to the door towards the bathroom where a bath was already drawn for him.
About an hour later
Jackie wore a oatmeal colored coat with a black sable colar and kitten heeled boots.
Jack in a a black shirt and striped pants with a top hat. Jack smiled at the sight of his wife and linked his arm to hers and they strode out together with pride.
