[CAMRYN ON THE SIDE]

Chapter 6

Rocky's P.O.V

He ran his fingers up and down my body, like a cold heart-ed predator, teasing his meal...Painfully... I felt so disgusted as we lie in the cold floor, his sweat all over my fully naked body and his. I couldn't do anything but lay there, in shock, and pain...Mental pain...I'd let another man take advantage of me...again.

"You love me Racquel?" His breath stunk of weed and strong, musty liquor. Was he psychotic? Was he delusional?...no, he was drunk and high.

I said nothing as his fingers stopped on my left breast, I could feel his eyes on me but I knew not to look at him.

"I asked you a question Rocky." His words slurring as he spoke to me sternly. I finally looked him in his blood shot, brown eyes and said-

"Fuck You" -  with as much Venom in my voice as I could. He swung at me with his fist, hitting me straight in my jaw. My head jerked back, hitting the hard floor as I cried out, holding my cheek.

"All of the shit I've done for you Racquel! If it wasn't for me, you'd be a broke bitch on the streets, with out even a dime to yo fuckin name! You're nothing but an Ungrateful Hoe!" I slapped him in his face with all of the strength in me, causing him to hit his head against the hard floor. He groaned, holding his head as I pushed him off of me. With all of that liquor and weed still in his system, I knew he wasn't gonna be able to run after me but that didn't mean I could take my time either.

I grabbed my pants and shirt, about to head for the door when something grabbed my ankle, causing me to fall.

"You're not going anywhere!" Lorenzo pulled me towards him as I squirmed, trying to loosen my ankle from his grip. I kicked him in his eye with the heel of my foot. He let me go with a groan, holding on to his eye.

"Son of a bitch!" He yelled. I took that time to pick myself back up and run out of his office.

I swung the front door open and started running down the alley towards the open street; not really caring that I was still completely naked but I wouldn't dare stop running.

I ran across the street, no cars or headlights in sight as I headed towards the shelter. Forget going back to Aladdin's house, the shelter was closer.

I knew Lorenzo wasn't following me but that didn't stop me from running. I slid my long shirt over my head as I ran on in the darkness, trying to stop the tears that continued to fall from my eyes. I cut into an empty alley, quickly sliding my pants on as I cautiously looked around. I could see my breath as I panted in the cold air of Late January, my feet freezing of being bare.

I took off once more, wincing as I stepped on a shattered beer bottle in the front of the alley.

"Fuck!" I yelled as I began to limp and run, swiping my sweaty, sloppy hair out of the way of my vision.

Three minutes later, I was limping up the steps of the shelter, leaving bloody foot prints on the concrete. I opened the door and walked inside.

Some of the girls were asleep, others were talking and whispering as they sat on their beds. I spotted Miss Amanda across the room, she was talking and laughing with one of the few Hispanic girls who stayed here.

I quickly walked towards the stairs, trying to be as invisible as possible.

Amber and Michelle were fast asleep in there beds while Farrah sat at a computer-less computer desk , reading a book. She must've heard me walk in because she turned around and stared at me. She gasped.
