Sienna and I just got to the Powers' home and Gold is whining on the couch. Mrs. Powers and Mr.Powers are no where to be found. Jasper and Jasmine are laughing teasingly at their brother until we catch their attention.

"Sup, Steel. Hey, Sienna." Jasmine greets in mid laughter.

"Sup, Jas and Jas." My sister and I respond, ploping on the couch next to Gold.

"What the hell happened to you?" I tease, looking at Gold.

Before he can respond Jasper speaks up.

"His clumsy ass sliced his palm open with a razor blade because he was trying to kill a spider." Jasper muses.

At that my sister and I join in on the laughter and Gold whines even louder.

"Where's Silver?" I ask curiously.

"And where's mom, dad, and Copper?" Sieena questions.

"Mom and dad are with Aunt Kat somewhere around here. Copper went to go get that dumbass bandages and Silver is in her room." Jasmine explains quickly.

"Okay, see ya." I respond back while I start to head to the basement where Silver's room is.

Silver and I became friends mostly because of sarcasm. She was dancing one day in the park with a look of distant and pure bliss. She looked as if she wouldnt be here if she wasn't forced to. I had froze when she turned around and caught me staring at her.

So I compromised and said "you look like a clumsy noodle" I had expected her to get mad or even embarrassed and I immediately felt bad but instead she did what I didn't expect. She laughed and came back with "oh, yeah pretty boy? Think you can do better?" Then that was the first time I danced with her.

That's what start it all. That's when I started to fall and it's been a shit of a fall because a normal person wouldve hit the bottom by now but I only fall harder when ever we're around each other.

She doesn't know any of this though and that's okay. She may realize it sooner or later but Silver has enough  going on without me adding to it.

Knocking on her door, I wait for a signal to come in.

"Yeah?" I hear her voice call out from the other side of the door so I open it and enter.

She's laying upside down on her bed and those curls are flowing over the side. Noir and Canvas are laying on her stomach and she has her Polaroid in her hand.

"Hey, Steel." She says quietly while the flash on the camera goes off.

I sit on her bed next to her and pull out my Canon D-SLR. I always take pictures of things that remind me of something or of things I love.

Silver is in most of these pictures. Her laughing, dancing, smiling, flipping me off, her drawing, painting, or us being silly together.

This is what I do right now. Getting the perfect angle, I snap a picture of this moment. She hasn't even noticed until the second picture here she's looking directly at me with a bright smile.

That's when I remember one of the reasons I came here. Putting my camera down, I reach in my pocket to grab the gift.

"Soooo, remember that gift?" I start and Silver sits up which results in Canvas and Noir hopping off of her stomach.

She groans in response then rolls her eyes.

"Yes, I do. Even though I told someone not to get me anything." She mumbles.

"Well here." I respond.

I put the small black lather bracelet around her wrist. It has a silver S engraved into it and is very similar to the one I have that Silver got me a while ago.

Considering both of our names start with an S. There no need for an explanation. Silver smiles st her worst then hugs me.

"Its so pretty! Thanks, sir doesn't listen to anything I say." She says while getting up from her bed and picking up Canvas, placing her in her cage.

"Don't blame me. It looks like something you would wear." I counter.

I stand to help her out by picking up the little fluff ball that is Noir and putting him in his cage.

Silver grabs her phone and sketch book then waits for me by her door. I folks her back up stairs and she turns to randomly take a picture of me with her phone, then smiles, her eye sparking a beautiful silver.

I learned that after a while, Silver's eyes are naturally brown but changes to grey sometimes and they look very silver. A beautiful color silver for a gorgeous girl named Silver.

This girl is going to be the death of me.
