Everyone in the room had their eyes fixed upon my glowing purple orbs. I felt like one of those ancient artifacts in a museum that was always starred at but could never be approached. That was until Scott stepped forward and spoke, "I've never heard nor seen of a werewolf with eyes like that..." I closed my eyes before replying. "My mother was the only other that I've ever known of" Stiles raised an eyebrow,"was? As in past tense...?" He asked and I simply nodded looking up at the boy my eyes returning to they're normal blue.
"She past away 3 years ago..." I said looking down at the ground as my mothers face flashed in my mind. Lydia put a hand on my shoulder and smiled, I looked at her and faked the same expression. "Why are your eyes different?" Liam asked glaring at me. I turned to look at the boy, "I've been asking myself that question ever since I could learn to speak. I asked my mother about it millions of times but she only answered with one word... peculiarity." I stated. It was a white lie, I didn't ask my mother about my purple eyes only the dark crystal blue ones I had before three years ago, my wolf eyes that I was born with.
Scott glared slightly at Liam and the boy backed off but the coyote however, she came forward. Malia growled at me and I turned in her direction glaring at her, "and why should we believe anything your little wolf ass says?" She asked and stiles stepped out in front of her. "Hey... hey Malia we've talked about this, now what's wrong? you haven't gotten like this in a while" stiles talked to her in a clam voice and which I didn't understand what was going on between the two. "What's wrong? What's wrong is that this girl came out of nowhere and we're all just standing here trying to get to know her when we should really be trying to know is why the hell shes here in Beacon Hills in the first place." Malia glared at me, she knew something about me... but what?
I returned the glare, "my dad and I needed a fresh start." Malia shook her head, "no, you were drawn here... like every other supernatural creature." I gulped and shook my head, "I'm outta here...." I stated and walked into the kitchen grabbing my jacket. Kira followed me giving me a soft smile as I turned towards her. "You don't have to leave, she just gets... irritated when there's a new person in town" I raised an eyebrow, irritated? I had no idea what she meant by that so I just shook my head. "She's acting like I've done something bad and that's why I'm here." Kira looked me in the eyes and asked, "have you?" I glared slightly at her and a growl escaped my lips, "No, now I have to go my dad set a curfew." I lied and headed towards the door.
As I reached for the door knob Malia grabbed my arm and her claws pierced my skin. I growled and let out a small yelp which seemed to get the others attention. "What the hell is your problem?!" I shouted and she let go. "That's your warning Angel" my eyes widen as I heard the nickname that I used to go by. A smirk formed across her lips and I bolted out the door jumping into my car.
