taiki couldn't bow, he tried and tried but he couldn't, he'd been asked to, ordered to by his master so he had to!.
he might not be a real kirin but he had to do his best for the king.
except he couldn't bow and he was going to be the reason the world broke into war. looking at his older mentor kirin he saw disappointment.
he tried harder and he felt his arms bend a little more not seeing the shock and horror on the young yellow haired kirin as he watched.
the kings didn't notice and the king he was trying to bow to stood up and tried to force his head down, trying harder and in pain he got a little lower arms screaming in pain and suddenly he felt one of his arms give a little more.
pain exploded in his arm but he kept going when suddenly he was released and picked up by the young yellow haired kirin and the older more pale haired kirin and placed on a chair to rest.
he cradled his arms to his chest as they argued only half listening through the pain.
leaving the room he walked away from everything and kept his arms carefully still as he sat ontop of the mountain watching the two kirin and master leave.
exhausted he fell asleep curled up with his arms carefully surrounded by his body.
he woke to his master picking him up and gasped when he jostled his arms.
careful to not move he stayed limp as the true king carried him to bed, going to remove his day shirt the kirin shied away still scared of his master.
he didn't see the regret and shock on the kings face as he went to bed.
the next morning the kirin had trouble getting dressed and his arms were blacks and purples one of them felt worse than the other.
sighing he went to breakfast with his master.
at the table he sat and listened to his master not willing to use his hands even for eating which the master noticed but ignored.
king pov
taiki had this attitude for a week and a half his king had stopped noticing when he didn't eat and it just didn't register with the king that there was something wrong with the kirin.
the king regretted what he did every time the boy shied away from his touch or flinched every time he was ordered to do something.
finally when at the end of week two the kirin fell asleep on the mountain again the man picked up the kirin to almost drop him in shock at the difference of weight.
the child had to have dropped at least 10 kilos. looking at him now he noticed the young kirins pale complexion.
taking him to his bed he placed him gently on the bed, despite his efforts the boy woke up and flinched away from him again.
the pang of regret almost physically hurt.
the next day he watched the little kirin who once again didn't eat any food, he resolved to bring the other young kirin back to see if the boy would open up to him.
the yellow haired kirin arrived almost 4 days after, all of which the child did not eat anything and his worry for the kirin had reached almost visible levels.
he told they yellow kirin that the boy wasn't eating, the horror of that overshadowed that the kirin would flinch away from him and he didn't tell the boy about it.
he then went to speak to the king of en who accompanied the kirin
Enki
when the yellow haired kirin (enki) found the boy he was sitting down at the mountain again.
