with parents that are less than ideal especially when any encounter leaves bruises and scars
a 16 year old joins the army as male despite being female her insomnia is an effect of ptsd she suffers from her time with her "perfect" parents

still injured with badly bruised ribs and being a girl means she can make the most of her mental affliction (insomnia) and shower later at night while the others are asleep. her bunk mates respect her
her ribs giver her trouble but she keeps the injury hidden, everyone in the bunk knows she's hurt however only keep a close eye on her
and through the trying times of camp she keeps the group together and makes sure they all make it even if they don't think they can.
her parents are bight lawyers and her brother whom moved out comes to see her only to find out they hadn't seen her in months. he blackmails them into using their extensive resources to find her.
which is the reason the girl went to the army as a male. by the time he finds out she is already off to war
yeah the description is a bit meh but you get the picture.
another story which could become an absolute gem if cared for i hope someone takes the time to write this and if you do don't forget to comment.
