ASHER'S POV

" hey Asher can i come upstairs i have something to you would like to hear" jay mindlinked me

"yeah sure came fast i have been working for an hour now i have to go somewhere" i mindlinked him

"oh i know you want to go to your mate no need to act '' jay replied back

i did not reply him because i know he is correct i want to go to my mate

knock knock

"come in " i said i know it is jay

"from when did you started knocking.?" i asked him because he never knocked

"from now because you have a mate now and i dont want to interrupt something "

" oh okay now tell me fast because i have to go to my mate i just found her " i said

"so here's the thing i wanted to say " he said taking a deep breath

he started walking towards the door i raised my eyebrow

" what are you doing ..?" i asked him

when his back touched the door he opened the door half way

" i wanted to say good night " he said and ran out

god why did i get a weird beta i thought and laughed

and started to get up and go to my room when i heard a scream

i ran to my room and found bella crying in her sleep and screaming

i ran towards her and decided wake her up

" bella wake up" i said shaking her shoulder

she opened her eyes and hugged me tightly i hugged her back

"shh its okay i am here it was just a nightmare " i said rubbing her back

"go back to sleep i'll wait " i said

"don't leave me please don''t leave me " she said while catching my hand

" of course i wont leave you i'll wait until you go to sleep " i said

she nodded and closed her eyes still not leaving my hand

i want to kill that so called alpha for doing this to my mate

i will surly kill him i thought as i tried to free my hand so i can sleep on the couch which can turn into a bed but there is a problem she is not leaving my hand

so decided to just sleep like that

"Asher wake up sleep straight on your bed " i heard bella's voice and she is shaking me

i opened my eyes and saw that i am sleeping on her lap

i got up from her lap and asked

"what is the time "

"8:30 am " she replied

"thank you for waking me up " i said and got up from my bed

"sorry about last night" she said looking down
