Absentmindedly she swung her legs when she hit something with her legs. Curiously she peeked below the bench. And voila, there was it. She immediately recognized it. Picking her container up, she went back to bakery.

After reaching the bakery she contemplated whether to open it now or not. She was both excited and scared.

As her excitement trump over her fear, she opened it. And soon the delectable aroma hit her. There inside was another Italian dish, lasagna, answering the call of her growling stomach.

Once she satisfied her hungry stomach, she realized there was a letter too. But her break was already over and customers were rushing in, she had no option but to wait till she reached home.

After agonizing wait of hours, she finally reached home and opened her precious letter. What could be in it?

Dear stranger,
I don't know who you are or whether you will get this or not. But if you are reading this, then let me tell you what an amazing baker you are. I would have kissed your hands over and over again, well of course if you are a girl or else that would be plain gross.

She chuckled a bit at this but read the letter further.

If I had your cake then you must had taken my pasta or so I assume. I wish you had enjoyed your meal as much as I do. So here is another one, as a token of appreciation.

Hope you like it.

Yours truly,
Another stranger.

She smiled to herself as she folded the paper and tuck it carefully inside her drawer.

Now, she had alot of work to do, she thought smiling mischievously.

Next morning, Clay was smiling brightly. What if his stranger had found his letter? Would he or she, hopefully she, reply? He decided to visit the park before going to work. It's his only chance to connect to his stranger.

In curiosity, he left earlier than usual. There was a box below that bench but he had no idea whether it was a same box he left behind or it was from his stranger. He would know soon.

The box kept staring at him while he was working. Should he wait or just open it? Unable to resist himself, he opened it.

'Ahh' he moaned silently as delicious smell of freshly baked cookies wafted around. He munched down the cookie. As expected, it was pure heaven. One. Two. Three. He finished them in no time.

Searching for anything more, he found a note taped inside.

Hey another stranger,
Where were you in my whole life? I haven't tasted something so delicious as your pasta in a while. I wished I would have gone to the park before.

I wouldn't go as far as kissing your hands, but maybe a thank you kiss on a cheek. Just as you were hoping I am a girl, which I am, I am assuming you are boy.

Your surprise yesterday was really special so here is something from me. Hopefully more surprises would come from both of us.

Yours,
Surprised stranger.
