**10 Days after the duet**

**Mel’s POV**

We had about 8 more shows, and now we’re in Ohio. More specifically, Vermilion. My home town. We don’t bother getting a hotel, since we have the tour bus now. We have enough rooms in our house for everyone to share a room with somebody else. The downside is that someone will have to share the bunk bed with Erin. For some reason, I picture Niall doing that.

“Hi Mom! Hi Daddy!” I say as we walk in the door.

“Hi Mel” They both engulf me in a massive hug. “So, how are you?”

“I’m great, how are you guys? Dad, how are you doing?” I am kind of concerned about him, since he was in that car accident about two months ago.

“I’m fine, perfectly healed” he smiles.

“You remember the boys, right?”

“Yep, now how much food should I order? We’re having carry out tonight”

“Um, probably 2 sheet pizzas. I know it sounds like a lot, but I know Erin can eat a lot, and Niall eats about 2.5 times as much as her” I laugh

“Alright, I’ll go order now” My mom says.

“Alright boys, let me show you around. This is the dining room, but we will eat in the living room tonight.” I take them upstairs, and show them their rooms. “Alright, there is only one problem. Somebody has to share a room with Erin.” I show them her room, and all jaws drop. Her ceiling is a bit taller than the rest, simply because of her bunk bed.

“I will, as long as she doesn’t kill me” Niall says. Did I call it or what?

“Alright, perfect.” They all get their luggage, and take it to their rooms.

“Alright, you showed the rest of the lads their rooms, where am I sleeping?” Louis chuckles.

“You are sleeping in my room, with me. Before you die, my parents will not kill you. They  know I am smart and won’t sleep with you until I know I’m ready”

“Okay, thank god”

We go back downstairs, and my dad had just left to get food.

We sit around doing nothing, and it’s quite nice. Tomorrow we will go to Cedar Point, and have fun all day.

**The Next Day**

I wake up at 6:30, and take my jog. I know this neighborhood very well, so I know where to stay away from. Once again, when I get home, I take a shower. When I’m done, I put on a pair of athletic shorts, an old softball tournament shirt, and tennis shoes.

I wake the boys up at 9, because we leave at 10 and we will get there at 10:30. I am so excited to see my old friends that I am literally shaking.

“LET”S GO!!!” I yell. We are going to take my dad’s truck, which seats 6, but you can squeeze 7. Since it’s only the lads and I going, we all fit comfortably.

I’m so excited that I’m gripping the steering wheel so tightly that my knuckles are white. I turn the radio on, but I don’t listen to it. When I can see roller coasters in the distance, I get even more excited. We pull up to the booth, and pay the $15 parking fee. We pre-purchased our tickets, so we get in line. The boys aren’t wearing disguises, but we have security following just in case. Fans around here won’t really attack, they’ll just be shy and maybe ask for a picture or autograph.

We enter the park, and I smile at all the memories I’ve had here. I don’t realize it, but I let a tear slip down my face. As we are exiting the Gatekeeper, I see someone familiar. “RYAN!!!” I run over to him, and engulf him in a hug.
