the car ride was literally just vic talking to isabelle about everything. she said she missed him and that she was getting all A's in school.
"smart just like her daddy" vic said, laughing.
"yea- but not like her mommy!" the little girl said, making everyone erupt into fits of laughter.
vic high fived the little girls tiny hand with his big hand, still laughing.
"sooooo" the little girl said, a smirk on her adorable face.
"you and my daddy are boyfriend and girlfriend right?" she asked
vic laughed and so did i
"yup." i smiled
"you're really pretty!" she said, giggling
"oh please you're so much prettier!" i replied, making the little girl smile.
"oh we're gonna have so much fun! finally a girl!" isabelle said
when she said it my heart hurt for her. sure, she had probably spent most of her life around the guys and had fun, but she had never really had a female figure in her life.
the car came to a stop and jaime and tony walked inside a rest stop and got some candy, giving isabelle a small bag of gummy bears.
"you know what?" i asked her
"what?" she asked with wide eyes
"we're gonna go shopping soon" i said, smiling
