Rummie

"Did you pack your toothbrush?" Rummies mothers voice filled the house. "Yeeess mooom" Rummie yelled downstairs as she packed some shirts into her red suitcase. "Sunscreen? Glasses? Extra pair of shoes?" Rummie rolled her eyes. "You rolled you eyes just now didn't you?" Her mothers voice rang again.  Rummie chuckled." We have to leave in 13 minutes or that bus will leave us behind! We've never been late and that is not changing today!"  Her mother said that every year.                                                                                                                            Rummie didn't bother fixing her short hair, it would do what it wants anyway. She put on a cap. The sound  of a horn was heard  out front. "T-THATS THEM, RUMMIE GET YOUR BEHIND DOWN HERE READY OR NOT!" Rummie quickly closed her suitcase and ran down the stairs, almost tripping a few times. She was relieved when she reconised  her friends face threw the window. Both Rummie and her mother sighed in relief "Thank god we got the sophomore bus." her mother mudered. Last year, Rummie and her mother were put on the senior bus. Lets just say it was the longest 4 hours of their lives. Threw the window of the bus, she could see her friend Laurie waving franticly from the window. She ran into the crowded bus. She put her suitcase into the compartment over her seat, and sat next to Laurie. Laurie was 2 years older than Rummie, they had been friends for years.  She hugged Rummie tightly. "AHHHHHHH! I missed you! I was counting down the days!" Rummie laughed.                                                                                                                                                            "SO! Update me on Keeping up with the fricks! What's going on?" Rummie was looking at her phone, there were already two calls and a text from Ally. Rummie put her phone in her jean pocket. "Nothing really, I broke my wrist a couple months back. "  Laurie listened closely to everything Rummie said, her eyes lit up like everything she was saying was the most exiting thing ever. Even if it wasn't, Rummie still apriciated it. "Oh! That sounds fun.. I broke up with timothy two weeks ago." Rummie almost stood up. "OH MY GOD, YES! How did it happen? GIVE ME SPECIFIC DETAIL." Laurie pulled Rummie back to her seat, "It wasen't that dramatic  actually, he just kept on being an asshole to this freshman. And I told him that if did didn't quit it "it" would be over. But he kept going. So I broke up with him." "Is the guy he was bothering ok?" "Don't know, never saw him around after that." "Kinda creepy." "You can see it that way.."
"So how is..she?" Rummie automatically knew who she was talking about. Laurie and Alyssa never got along. Laurie didn't understand Rummie's patience to be around her all the time. "Oh.. she's good! She's a bit worried about me coming here this summer though.." Laurie's voice got a little bit more quiet. "Yeah but doesen't she worry about everything?" Rumor scratched her ear, as she does when she's nervous. "Yeah but.. she was really nervous this year, like she knew something would happen." "Don't let her worries scare you too. We're going here to have a summer full of s'mores and maybe some teenage rebellion!" Rummie laughed, she loved Laurie's humor. "Alright,Alright"

Andre

He sat at the front of the sophomore buss alone, besides the supervisor sitting next to him. Just the day before he has thought he was going to a cousins house in Florida. He was very wrong. "It will be a refreshing experience for you!" His mother said. She wasn't the one who had to be without Internet access for two months. He looked at the houses and signs zooming passed his window as he was taken from his thoughts by the female voice next to him. "Did you take your medicine?"

This woman was Ms. Irving, his supervisor hired to take care of him since he was 5. Her old glossy eyes looked at him. "Yes.." Andre mumbled and looked back at the window. "Are you sure you did?" She looked down at his hand, wich was shaking. She took his face into her hand. "You get anxious without your medicine." She said as she unzipped the bag on her lap and took out a prescription medicine and a bottle of water. "Here" she said.
She handed Andre the two pills and the bottle. He took them quickly. "Careful." She said as handed him another two pills from another prescription bottle. As he took the pills he noticed the local hospital passing by the window. At least I have an excuse from that hell he thought to himself. "Better?" Andre nodded and handed the two perceptions back to her. "Why do I have to go on this dumb trip?" "Your Doctor said it would be healthy for you to get out of the technology for a while. Think about it this way, you can make new friends and start new over here for a little bit!" Andre rolled his eyes.

"You should take a nap, Andre. The bags under your eyes are getting awfully dark." He hasn't been sleeping for the past few days, maybe it's because of how he made a fool of himself the last day of school? It was that girl, the one who defended him a few weeks back. Since then he's been searching up her social media pages. Liking every photo and examining it. His favorite was one of her and her boyfriend at the beach. And how if you look closely, you can see the scratches on her legs and shoulders from who knows what. He always wanted to ask her what they were from. But him, he hated him. Dreamed of a day where he would just go missing, or maybe.. Well it didn't matter now. "Andre?" Ms. Irving broke his trance, once again. "Yeah I'll take that nap." He closed his eyes, but was defiantly not going to fall asleep.
