Backstory: Jack grew up as a long line of his family members to keep the real royal family save from anyone who try to hurt them. Jack of course didn't really like working for them as he saw them as cowards hiding the truth from them all, but it did not matter to him. When he was of age he join the military and went through there training program which wasn't even all that hard for him. He graduated earlier then most because of where his family sat the age 12. He then return to guard the reiss family mean he join the Central military police for the time being . A few days after the graduation wall Maira was broken through and hell broke loose. He then quickly ran to see the reiss family to see if they Alright and they where. After everything finally calm with wall Maira fallen. frieda reiss pulled him aside and asked him to keep her younger sister historia safe. She asked him to swear her loyalty to Histora no matter what and he did. Frieda also told him one day Historia could be on throne but wasn't sure, but she told him no matter what to serve her and only her and no one else .That was her final order to him and sent him on his way to find her and to keep her safe. After that the whole family was while out besides her father. He did manage to find historia and kept watchful eye over her but made sure that rod reiss didn't know he was watching over her. He continued to watch over her and kept working for Rod until Rod wanted to kill Historia but he was stop and sent her far away from him to military under a new identity. Roy then ask jack to go and make sure she did not say thing about her pass. He then watched over her for next 3 years in her training, but 1 year before there graduation he went back to roy and asked for his own legion/special squad just like the Central military police that was lead by Kenny ackerman. Roy agreed and gave him his own squad/ Secret legion. The group was the then brought fourth to Commander Zachary the leader of all the regiments he gave his approval on it, But Zachary told jack it would be a secret group and that he would only allow it if he over saw there group and was kept in loop on what they where doing. The group would help all three regiments where ever they where needed at the most. So in terms he's given the Authority as a commander among his group but also a captain among all all three regiments. So commander Zachary informed all those of Captain level or higher to of all the regiments about the group that was form and of what the group was about and that he would over see the group as well. Not many of them where happy hearing this but just swallowed it up and didn't disagree about the new group. So the group was recognize as it own legion/ elite squad among all the other legion. Jack then brought in his most closed friends to join this elite group and of those who he could trust the most. As group was forming he went back the training grounds to watch over Histora as she continued her training while looking for new recruits to pull in his ranks. But a month before the graduation he went back to Roy to ask for one more thing and that was more power. Roy seeing that jack was so loyal to him and that of his family always being loyal to the true royal family he gave him one the last remaining titan powers that kept hidden through out history the horn titan. He also told him he had two more shape shifter powers to him and that he could pick who he want them to have it. After that he left and went back to the training ground after graining the power of the horn titan and no one was ever aware that he was a titan not until after the coup d'état on the government. Through all jack group was never really loyal to anyone not Roy not to government but really it was loyal to Frieda and her last order to jack to keep her younger sister safe. It would be later done that Jack group would become the new royal guard to Histora when she became the new queen of the walls.
