Staring at the starry sky
She was laying there, thinking
Of ways on how she could fly
Her fears broke her
Her thoughts were caged
She was blinded by the world's rageShe was a pure heart in a world full of atrocities
A generous soul drowning in an ocean of curiositiesShe wasn't aware of this land's cruelty
She thought people were like her
Kind and soothingThey kept abandoning her
Not knowing, that she was hurting
And that her soul was brokenSo she closed her eyes thinking about the same sky
Believing in herself,that one day
She will shine..But little did she know
That she was already the brightest star
In the astral night.
