Pandora had been through every pain that is in the world. Disease, her mother had suffered from cancer for a huge part of her life. Poverty, she had lived in the smallest of apartments, a small two-roomed flat, with only a broken mattress that she had shared with her mother as a bed. Hatred and Violence, from the other kids at her school. Death, when her mothers suffering finally ends.
Now, she is being sent to live with her Father, a man she had never met or seen, only heard stories of from her Mother. To live in New York City, the city of dreams! But now she is faced with Envy for the people around her who grew up in riches and happiness. Despair towards the loss of her wonderful Mother. Malice to her Father who ignores her and his family in favour for his work. Greed to have everything she never had. And is at War with herself and her emotions.
To escape she writes letters to the one person who always understood her. Her Mother. But its hard to know what to do if the person you're asking advise from cannot reply.
Through starting school and getting to know her new family better, she discovers what its like to be happy and have a little something called HOPE...
