"Good morning, Alyssa" I greeted my assistant when I walked into work "Do I have any messages?"
"Good morning, Paisley." She greeted back "No messages yet"
"Alright. Is my mother in yet?"
"She is in her office"
"Thanks" I said before walking to my mother's office
"Hey, mom. Can we talk for a second?" I asked her when she looked up at me from her desk
"Sure sweetie, is everything ok?"
"Did you give ashleigh my address?" I said a little harsher then I wanted too
"Yes honey, she said she wanted to make things right with you. I hate seeing my babies fighting" She frowned
"Well she didn't. We fought instead"
"Honey, what happened?" She took my hand and dragged me towards the couch in her office
The moment we sat I told my mom everything that happened with Ashleigh. I told her about Trent confessing his feelings for me and spending the whole weekend together. Also told her about Kayla this morning and how I felt about it. She sat there and listened to me the whole time without interrupting me.
"I told you that boy liked you. That's why he was so rude to you"
"I know. I'm going to get to work. I have a dress to make"
"I'm very proud of you, Sweetie"
"Thanks for listening, mom"
"Anytime. I'm always here for you"
"I know. Thanks" I said as I turned to leave
As I walked into my office, My phone was ringing "Hello"
"Their is someone here to see you" I heard Alyssa say from the other in
"Ok send them in" I heard her said "okay" before hanging up. I wonder who is here to see me.
Surprise written all over my face when I see him walk through my door.
"What are you doing here?"
"I needed to talk to you and I realized I don't have your number"
"If this is about this morning, I'm fine. There's no hard feelings" I shrugged as if it didn't hurt me
"I like you a lot, Paisley. As soon as you left, I kicked Kayla out and told her not to come back. I texted every girl in my phone and told them that I'm off the market." I know my mouth just dropped open and my heart started beating faster. He grabbed hold of my hand "I want to be with you. Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes" I almost screamed. Then brought his mouth to mine in a passinate kiss
I heard a throat being cleared. Trent and I broke apart and looked toward the person at the door
"Mom" Sometime she can be so embarrassing
"Mom?" Trent repeated in shock
"Your right Paisley, He is handsome"
"Paisley, you think I'm handsome?" He smirked
"Great, as if his ego wasn't big enough, you had to tell him what I said." I sighed "Mom, did you need something?"
"Yes, just wanted you to know that I just got off the phone with Ashleigh"
Great wonder what lies she told mom. She isn't happy unless she creates some type of drama
