calloway was startled by the voice, and look over to left to see nixon. he opened his mouth to speak but nixon shushed him.
"our time's over cal," he grabbed calloway's hand tight; it was freezing cold. "you can sleep now, but even after all this i hope you don't forget me."
calloway had tears coming down his eyes, "i won't."
"good," nixon smiled at him with those familiar crooked teeth.
they stared at each other until calloway's eyelids started to get heavy.
he didn't scratch his arms that day.
