Yep. The amortentia was something!
--------Harry wasn't even going to deny it anymore. He was staring at Draco Malfoy. And Draco Malfoy was staring at him. Both boys were blocking out everything else but each other. Even though they were on opposite sides of the Great Hall, it felt as if they were the only people on Earth. Somebody shaking his shoulder was what made him tear his eyes away from Draco. "Blimey, mate!" Ron exclaimed. "You've been staring at that French kid the entire breakfast!" Ron said, lowering his voice so he wouldn't embarrass Harry. "I don't know what your talking about." Harry said. "Oh come on! You totally love him!" Ron said jokingly. When Harry didn't answer Ron's eyes widened. "Merlin's beard! You do love him." Ron said massaging his temples with his hands. "I'm just gonna go to potions." Harry said quickly, as he got up and left.
-------------------------------------------Draco stepped into the potions classroom, and smelled something amazing. It smelled like Harry. It's the amortentia. Draco thought. He walked to his desk and sat next to Harry. "Bonjour." Draco said, as he pushed his already very much gelled hair behind his ear. "Hello." Harry replied. Harry was looking at the cauldron at the front of the class. What's wrong with the cauldron?" Draco asked. "It's got amortentia in it." Harry said, not taking his eyes if the front of the room. "And...?" Draco asked. Harry sighed. "It's not the amortentia itself, it's what it smells like." Harry said, changing his gaze towards Draco. Draco raised an eyebrow. What could be so wrong about how his amortentia smelled. Oh. Draco thought. I bet it smells like me. Just then Slughorn walked in. "Hello!" He bellowed. "Today we will be finishing our amortentia project. If your potion is completed, please raise your hand now." He said. Draco and Harry were the only ones to raise there hands. Hermione was staring at them in disbelief. Everyone else just shrugged. "Draco, Harry! It seems you have finished, who would like to say what it smells like to them?" Both hands went down. Slughorn's eyes were darting from Draco to Harry expectantly. "Well then, if neither of you would like to say what it smells like I'm going to pick one of you." He said. Both hands stayed down. There was a moment of silence before Draco said, "I'll do it, Sir." Harry looked at him and mouthed, "Thank you" Draco smiled and shrugged. "Alright then, Draco. Go on." Slughorn said. "Je sens le ton de Quidditch, le beurre de beurre et le Cologne de John Wad." Draco said, while smirking. "Well I guess I didn't say what language you had to say it in, so 50 points to Slytherin for Draco's cleverness, and 50 points to Gryffindor for Harry helping make the potion." Slughorn said, obviously impressed. "Merci, Sir." Draco said as he sat back down. Draco hoped nobody here could speak French. Because then they would know that Draco smelled Harry Potter's cologne, the butterbeer from the time Harry took him to The Three Broomsticks, and Harry's Quidditch. Well, maybe not that much. But it would still be embarrassing. "Draco?" Harry asked. Draco's eyes immediately darted up to see Harry's. "Yeah?" He said, trying not to sound to dazed. "Thanks for going up and saying yours." Draco smiled. "No problem. People couldn't understand what I said." Harry nodded, as he watched Hermione and Pansy desperately try to save there now green potion.
----------Draco flopped onto his bed. He needed sleep. But sadly, images of Harry kept flowing through his mind. God, he's perfect. Draco thought. Although, he was starting to fought if Hermione was right when she said Harry was crushing on him. I mean, surely he would've made a move by now? Right? Draco tossed and turned, and eventually fell asleep, thinking about Harry.
"Draco?" Harry said. His voice was so peaceful, calm. "Yes?" Draco replied, stopping whatever he was doing to look at Harry. "What did you smell when you went up to the amortentia?" Harry asked. Draco smiled. Without hesitation he said, "You." Suddenly Harry was leaning forward. Green eyes fixed on Draco's gray ones. Draco gasped, they were mere inches apart. The distance between them was becoming smaller and smaller, until it wasn't there at all. Harry liked Draco's bottom lip, causing Draco to moan. Harry took this opportunity to stick his tongue into Draco's mouth. Draco didn't bother to fight for dominance. He let Harry's mouth take control of his own. After a while Harry pulled away. "I love you, Draco." Was the last thing Draco heard Harry say before he opened his eyes.
---------"Harry! You look awful did you sleep well?" Hermione asked, concern and panic leaking into her voice. "I'm fine 'Mione. Just had a bad dream. Well, I guess it wasn't bad, but it was dream." Hermione laughed. "What was it about?" She asked. Harry shuffled his feet. How was he supposed to say this. Harry looked up to find Hermione smirking at him. "It was about Draco wasn't it?" She asked. Harry smiled, "Maybe." He replied. "Sure." Said Hermione as she walked off. Harry walked to the Gryffindor table to eat breakfast. He sat down, and almost automatically, as if it were routine, looked up at the Slytherin table. Draco was looking back at him, as always. He didn't look like he slept to well either. I wonder if he had the same dream as me. Harry thought Draco seemed to have zoned out. But when he did notice Harry looking back at him, he smiled that dopey smile of his. God he's so damn cute. Harry thought as he blushed and smiled back. Eventually, both boys looks away, not wanting to give the other the idea that they fancied them. Hermione just watched the whole thing knowingly. She smirked at Harry, who blushed an even brighter red. That caused Draco to smile, which caused Harry to blush, which caused Hermione to smirk, which caused Harry to blush even more and-it was a vicious cycle.
------------------"Hello class!" Slughorn announced, starting his usual speech. Draco was paying very close attention, like usual. And Harry, well Harry was zoning out. Again. So when Slughorn said, "Since Draco and Harry are the only ones finished with our amortentia project, they will be going around helping people." Draco nodded and got up. Draco noticed that Harry wasn't paying attention. Draco noticed most things about Harry, but that's besides the point. The Slytherin poked the Gryffindor, who looked up instantly. "What?" Harry mouthed. Draco tilted his head up, motioning for Harry to stand. Harry blushed a bright red as he stood. After Draco had explained what they had to do, they were working in no time. Most of the students were almost done, but a few groups were barely on the second step. Draco frantically tried to stop Neville and Ron's potion from exploding. Everyone was surprised when, in about five minutes time, Draco had stopped there potion from fizzing, and returned in to its normal pink shade. The rest of class when on like the for a while. By the time the lesson was over, Harry and Draco looked like they had been to war. Harry's sleeves were unevenly rolled up, and he had some cuts on his fingers from when he misses the ingredients. Draco's hair was a mess, the gel had completely came off of it. He had taken off his robe(A/N he had clothes underneath jeez), and his sleeves were covered in holes from when the potion spattered on him. Jut before everyone left Slughorn bellowed, "100 points to Gryffindor and Slytherin for Harry and Draco's amazing work today!" Draco had no idea what points meant, but he was smiling anyway.
