The sun blazes through the blinds, scattering light across the room. I guess London is a lot nicer when you shed a little light on it. Glancing at my alarm clock I decide to give myself ten extra minutes in bed. Then another ten. Drifting off until I hear a knock at my door swiftly followed by West entering.

"You do realise knocking then requires an invitation to come in?" I groan from under the covers.

"Nah, we don't need those formalities. Just wanted to let you know that it's almost 10o'clock and Jake will be here in about a hour."

"Well technically I'm having a relaxing day as I am way ahead with all the work. Therefore, I'm going to chill and maybe even go out, I could do with meeting some new people."

"As long as the work is done you can do as you please. Just keep your work phone on you as calls to the office will automatically be put through to you. Also you can meet Jake before you go anywhere, he has been asking about you."

I let out a moan before sliding out from the covers.
"I'm getting up, I will be here and ready to greet him in an hour. Now go away so I can get ready."

West stalks out closing the door behind him and I decide to get in the shower before I talk myself out of it.

I look around my closet for something to wear. As it is for a barbecue I decide on a cute little blouse tucked into a skirt with some boots.
(Showed in the picture at the beginning of the chapter)

I dry my hair and let it sit naturally in its curls before adding the smallest amount of makeup. As I exit my room I hear the voices of a few men, presumably the infamous Jake. Stepping into the livingroom I am greeted by a grinning young man that looks around the same age as West, maybe slightly younger. His whole image is the antithesis of West's. Darker hair, no tattoos and schoolboy grin. As my mother would say "a nice young man".

"Hi, I'm Aubrey Berry, West's PA. You must be Jake." I try to look cool and collected as I walk over and introduce myself. I hold out my hand for a formal handshake.

"That's me." He knocks away my hand and pulls me into a light hug. "We are going to be friends I can tell so why waste time with handshakes."

"Leave the woman alone Jake." West cuts in and laughs and I look to change the subject.

"So what are you guys up to today?"

"Music room for the meeting and record for abit then have some barbecue food and chill." West answers nonchalantly.

"Well I've made arrangements with Dylan to go into the city for abit and I can come back later when you guys are out the studio."

"Sounds good. Phone Dylan if you need anything."

"I will. Nice you meet you Jake, see you both later."

As I walk away I can hear Jake mumble something and then a little yelp when West hits him. I decide to just carry on walking.

I had asked Dylan to take me to a shop that sells furniture, or just somewhere I could pick a room that I liked and they could just do it for me. I was lazy so I just wanted someone else to do it for me.

"Here we are Aubrey." I looked around.

"I.K.E.A. What's that?" Dylan laughs and tells me how to pronounce it correctly.

"Its just a big furniture store, just pick out a showcase room you like and then we can just hire someone to fit it all for you and paint it when it's delivered."

"Ok. Thankyou. I will phone you when I'm done and you can just pick me up here."

"No problem see you later."

I had been walking round aimlessly following little foot prints on the floor until I eventually got to the bedroom section. Some of the designs were absolutely gorgeous and I was honestly having a hard time choosing. People that knew me, knew I loved books so I wanted a cosy but simplistic room. After a long meeting with one of the design staff we managed to incorporate two different showrooms into one perfect bedroom.

"Is that everything you needed today Miss Berry?"

"Yes thankyou. Are all the details in this pack?" I referenced the small little folder I had been handed moments before.

"Yes. Your purchases will all be delivered together tomorrow. Your invoice is also in that pack just incase anything is faulty or missing."

"You've been amazing. Thankyou for your help!"

I got up, shook his hand and left the store; phoning Dylan to tell him I was ready to be picked up. As always, I wasn't waiting too long before I saw a black BMW pull up and I jumped in.

"Did you find the perfect bedroom Aubrey?" He looked at me through the mirror.

"I actually did. Just need to find a company to fit it, it's all being delivered tomorrow."

"Don't worry, I've sorted it. My brother is a joiner and I spoke to him earlier so he has cleared his schedule. I will let him know he can come tomorrow and fit everything and paint."

"Oh wow, thankyou! That will be great if it can be done in one day." I smile brightly and we pull up to the house. It still surprises me how big it is. Before I get out of the car a thought hits me.

"Will West not mind me completely changing the bedroom?"

"Nah, he probably wouldn't even notice unless you told him." I laugh in agreement and get out of the car. I open the front door and quickly realise that Jake was still here when I hear very loud music and two shouting men. Great.
