Chapter 2
Maria's p.o.v
*The next day*
I was walking through the school halls when I bumped into Kaitlyn... my ex best friend.
Kaitlyn: "Oh hey suicide girl." She said as all her friends laughed.
Maria: "Why are you even laughing? I don't know how that is even funny." I said with a disgusted face.
Kaitlyn: "Yeah but you know what's funny... your life." She said as everyone burst into laughter.
I flipped up my hoodie and walked away looking at the ground.
Kaitlyn: "I THINK I HURT HER FEELINGS!" She shouted across the hallway for me to hear.
I decided to skip maths class and go to the park. As I arrived I saw Luke and his friends. He ran to me with a confused face.
Luke: "What are you doing here?"
Maria: "Getting away from everyone at school."
Luke: "Well in that case I'll hang with u for the time."
I giggled. I really didn't mind hanging with him.

Luke's p.o.v 
We sat on the swings talking for what felt like hours.
Luke: "About what you said last night... I think i like you also." I said rubbing the back of my neck.
Maria looked at me with the cutest smile ever.
I know we just met but i felt like this was the time. I leaned in and we made out for 2 mins.
Maria: "Did you know that was my first kiss."
Luke: "Oh for real. Well you're pretty good for a first timer."
She giggled. I swear she has the cutest laugh ever. I don't think I just like her... I think I'm in love. We got up and began walking to her house which was just around the block. I put my hands over her shoulder and pulled her closer to me. I could feel her heart beating extremely fast. Midway to her house she got a phone call from a unknown number and immediately ran off leaving me behind. I didn't bother to run after her. I stood there confused.
