I was boarding a plane to a part of Britain that my grandma had shipped me off to. My nerves were shakey! I couldn't see straight and I had a headache.

My world was falling apart at it's very feet and I couldn't do anything to change it! I felt like giving up.

I latched my baggage above where I would be sitting. I took the window seat.

Hello Everybody my name is Jason Puma and I will be your captain today. Please buckle up and enjoy the ride. We will be taking off at any moment so please get to where you need to be!

Not even a minute later the plane accelerated  as it lifted off the ground. I trembled with fear and grasped to the leather arm seats as the plane took off. I had only been on a plane once and that was when I moved to America with my dad. Of course I was upset that my parents split up but excited that I would experience a new country!

I had many friends that were so near and dear to me that I didn't have the guts to say one last goodbye! I even had to leave my two year and committed, boyfriend Kevin... My heart at this very moment was shattered into a thousand little pieces stabbing at me from the inside.

So much things were on my mind. I stared out the window of the plane as my thoughts shifted towards my dad. I was ashamed of myself! I was the cause of my dad's death. Instead of being at home with him as he was very ill, I went to a party that were like the million others I went too. To my surprise I came home to my dad still on the couch. Not a single movement in his chest. Calling back all these thoughts made me start bursting out into tears with my head between my knees like a puppy.

As I was crying I felt a tap on my shoulder... It was a stewardess.

"Mam are you alright?" She asked with no emotion.

Am I alright? Am I alright! No I'm not! I said screaming on the inside. I just nodded my head and said I was tired so she could leave me the hell alone!

The airplane landed and I looked at the address my grandmother had given me. I made my way to the busy street and called for a taxi.

Soon enough I was on my way to what I'd be calling home for a while. It's been forever since I've seen my mother and would be scared of what she might think of me. But I just got to cool down and stop thinking about all the negative things.

I pulled up to a two story house with a nice new car. Memories started to come back to me as I made my way up the stone pathway to the front door. Memories of me and my brother Sam running around having water balloon fights with the neighborhood kids. Maybe this wasn't going to be as rough as I thought it would.

I finally had the nerve to ring the doorbell. The period between me ringing the doorbell and the silence after killed me. Then the door opened.....
