Chapter 5 I Was the End of Her!

   We finally entered the night club after a few pulls of the strings.

  Sam and Cameron headed over to the bar area. I was left to wonder around. As I was walking towards the dance floor James pulled me aside.

   "Boy, aren't you looking spiffy tonight."

     My eyes began to wonder the room trying not to make eye contact with him but our eyes suddenly met. He grabbed my hands and held them firmly.

   "Wanna go dance?" He asked.

   "Sure," I said as I started to blush.

Ben's POV

Danny and I were leaning against a wall close to the bar. I was looking at the crowd of people dancing. Then i spotted this girl with legs that stretched all the way up. As I followed her legs up I could clearly make out who she was. It was Mckayla.

   "Hey Danny look!"

   "Huhh what? Did you find a girl you want to bring back to the bus or something?" Danny asked smiling.

   "No that son of a bitch is with Mckayla!"

   Soon Danny looked over and gazed at James. James's hands were planted right on Mckayla's hips and Mckayla was laughing.

   "So why should that bother you?" Danny asked me.

   "You promise you won't tell no one!"

   "I promise," Danny pleaded.

   "Well ever since I layed my eyes on Mckayla I saw something different, from me being there for her, us talking, playing video games together and, just being around her makes my day ten times happier! But seeing James rip her away from me like that just Fucking hurts me man."

   I looked over at Danny to see his face blank with no emotion.

   "Are you alright Danny?"

   "Ummm I think I had to many beers and feel a little sick I'll be right back.

Danny's POV

   I walked to a stool sat down and drank some more shots down. I was in no mood. I just couldnt beleive two of my closest friends felt the same way. My mind started to spin as well at the room. Then I felt something wet touch the back of my ear. I smirked thinking it was of all people Mckayla but no... It was a whore. I had a few more drinks and she whispered in my ear. As she leaned over I could of swore she dropped something in my drink. She then grabbed my shirt and pushed me against the wall. She proceeded to touch me.

   I then followed her into a back room where she pushed me down into a chair. Then our lips collided and I was caught up in the moment. There was a whole bunch of grasping, touching, and breathing. The entire time I thought about Mckayla and if that was her. I just went wild not holding anything back.

Ben's POV

   About twenty minutes passed and Danny was no where to be found. I began to panic. I searched everywhere asking Sam, Cameron, James, and Mckayla if they knew where he was and the same answer for everyone was no.

   I walked past a stool seeing Danny's jacket laying there with a couple of empty shot glasses.

   I ran down this hallway towards the back screaming Danny!

   "Danny! Danny! Where the fuck are you!!!" But there was no response. I walked past a door that was slightly cracked and busted it open. There was Danny laying back in a chair foam spewing out of his mouth. His eyes were blood shot and he had red marks all over his neck. I started slapping him trying to wake him up but there was still no movement.

   "Danny wake the fuck up! Danny! Please! Danny!!!"

   Ben's POV
  

   I was on the ambulance with Danny. More foam was flooding out of his mouth like a fountain. I didn't know what to do. My best friend was dieing right before me and it was all my fault.

   His heart beat stopped and his chest rose. I glanced at a sharp needle and grabbed. I pushed the doctor out of the way and jammed the needle in his chest. He arose and screamed. I helped him to his feet and busted open the ambulances door.

   Mckayla's POV

   I began to worry. We were all back on the bus. I was pacing back and forth. Sam, Cameron and, James were all on the couch sitting silently. Danny was inside a ambulance truck with Ben. How could I let this happen? I felt bad that I didn't get to spend time with the other guys. Maybe if I wasn't so stubborn this wouldn't of happened. God... I hate myself! A few tears started to roll down my face. Sam saw got up and hugged me.

   I felt horrible that everyone had to see me like this but I couldn't hold it in anymore.

   BOOM! The door was busted in and there stood Ben and Danny. Ben helped drag Danny to his bunk in the back. He was up but I could tell he wasn't there in the head right now.

   "Fuck!" Ben screamed and ran his fingers through his fluffy hair. "If I wasn't so stupid and watched him tonight this wouldn't of happened. The moment I saw that something wasn't right I should of never let him leave me side. I'm suck a fucking bad friend."

   "No. Ben don't say that," I pleaded,

   "It's all of our faults.  Not just yours. We were all supposed to look after him but we were too caught up in our own world."

   I leaned in and hugged Ben as tight as I could. Soon Ben started to tear up. I looked at him, " Ben please don't do this!"

   "Do what?" Ben said looking confused.

   "Don't cry. Wipe those tears off your face. I'd hate to see such a handsome young man like you looking like this."

   I smiled as a few more tears rolled down my face. We both looked at each other. I stared deeply through his big blue eyes that were all watery. I could see his pain. I could feel it. He was hiding behind false eyes and it killed me inside to see him like this. I hugged him once more. We all slept in the lounge area because we didn't want to disturb Danny.

   I was kept up all night while thinking about him. All that ran through my head was Danny. I couldn't take it anymore. I needed to talk to him. I was about to get up but Ben pulled me back down.

   "I advise you to not go in there right now," Ben whispered, "He's extremely drunk right now and needs his rest. We can all talk to him tomorrow afternoon."

   "Fine,"

   Ben soon pulled in closer to me as I could feel him breathing down my back. I took his arms and wrapped them around me. I just have a feeling these few weeks are going to be the roughest ever.
