chapter 1 GRADUATION DAY

I was standing in the mirror looking at my gown for graduation i must say I was blazing hot. My brown curly hair braided to the side falling to the middle of my waist . I was 5"6 in height and weigh 117lbs I had hazel caramel- brown eyes. My best friend alyssa and roomate from ever since high school straight down into college was applying make up onto her face. she was 5"5 in height and weigh 116lbs, she has long brown curly hair that falls down in the middle of her back, she has a tan body and Irish green eyes. looking around the room it was empty because we were packing up to leave today was the last day here and I was so sad all of the great times me and Alyssa had in this very room like Friday night's scary moving fete I was gonna miss this place so bad.

" Vanessa I..... I'm gonna miss you so much." she said as she bagan to cry pulling her into a hug I shrocked her long brown curly hair.

"shh... Alyssa don't cry this isn't the last time you will be seeing me I promise, besides you and I will contact each other its not the end but a new begining." i said as I wiped the tears from her eyes " oh Vanessa I'm gonna miss u so much, and we will see each other again." she grinned soon after we were both laughing. graduation was soon goona start so we headed out with our belongs taking one last look at our dorm room we were taking a great memories with us"Goodbye ULC we a sure gonna miss you" I said holding Alyssa's hand heading outside I saw both Alyssa's parents. my parents died when I was in high school and ever since that Alyssa's parents offered me a place to live they were so sweet." Look at my girls, I'm so happy for you two finishing college. " said Mrs. Rodriquez " thanks mom it means a lot." said Alyssa with a wide smile embracing her mom, I wish I had that,i wished my parents were alive to see me graduating but there is no way to bring them back. " Vanessa sweetie I'm- were so happy to see you girls graduate also we know you wish your parents were here to see you today growing into this beautiful young woman and I'm proud to call you my daughter." she said pulling her into a hug " thank you for everything I really appreicate all what you have done for me." I said crying into her shoulder soon after Alyssa and Mr.Rodriquez came in to join us hugging. " my three girls all here just the way it should be, see Alyssa your not an only child anymore." Said Mr. Rodriquez laughing I was so happy to be apart of the family. soon after graduation started and we where at the alter lookng into the crown I saw my new family the Rodriquez videoing every minute of the ceremony. Our principle Mrs.Dow she was the most amazing principle we ever had she was fun and stricken at the same time.

"ladies and gentlemen for the past few years that I have been here this group of srudents were the highlight of my day,we are here to advocate for all students being able to learn about an ethnicity and its history: this is about a privilege that I enjoy at my school, St. Gregory, and which I feel every student should share: the freedom of knowledge.For this purpose and ideal, Aliana Jacobs and James matrix advised by Dr. Leroy, took the initiative to make a difference for our community by organizing a community-wide rally downtown. They had to overcome significant challenges, but they persevered and did it the way they believed they could make the most difference, and it was a great success.What is especially meaningful to me about this particular action is what they were fighting for: better education for all. They sought to empower fellow students, and to improve our society, by influencing what and how their fellow students learn.They know that Education empowers; learning matters.Yes, this always been true, but it has never been more true. We live in a fast-changing world. Telephones used to change every decade or so back in 60's, 70's, and 80's- remember call waiting", and how long it took us all to adjust-but now phones (we don't have time to call them telephones any longer) change every year as new cell phone models arrive and change every day as new "apps" are added.In a fast-changing world, the responsibility is upon us, all of us, more than it has ever been before, to continue learning and growing. Graduates, you are, all of you, headed off to college and university, and as we are the ULC, we are pleased and proud that you are the future." she said the speech she gave was beautiful. " now our two valivictorians Alyssa Rodriquez and Vanessa James." she said as Alyssa and I approached the Mic. Alyssa spoke first " sorry about that she meant Vanessa Rodriquez my sister and best friend." she said giving me the oh you now you like it kinda look. " where do we begin, I choose life and education when we first walked through these halls on that first day we were just ordinary teenagers exploring and having adventures. but know as we leave we leave with memories of us getting to know each other through out the school year to our movie nights, to pajamas party, bond fire amd so much more.she said smiling at our classmates. " web arent just a bunch offical graduates but were family Andalucía i Love every single one of them." holding alyssa's hand were lookec at each other then backups to the crowd and yelled "Were are the 2014 graduates of ULC" The ceremony went on for a while Our teacher ms. martinque was giving her speech about the first year with us. soon after they were giving out our diplomas and certificate's minutes later graduation was finish.

two day later

Omg both Vanessa and just finish graduate and tonight we were gonna party it was gonna be turned up but we were sure gonna turn it over. in this relationship between me and Vanessa I was much more responsible about everything work and career. as I sat on my bed I watched Vanessa curl her hair we weren't exactly ready but yeah were girls yhats how it is . plus we didn't have dates but we were sure as hell gonna roll up like a BOSS."Alyssa aren't you gonna get ready its soon 6pm and we have to be their fashionably late, if you want to make your crush mike jealous and fall head over heels" she Said eyeing me in the mirror I have had a crush on mike for so long ever since we first met in college but I never really told him becasue he had a girlfriend and plus I was totally scared of telling him. I got up from where I was and headed. the bathroom. stepping into the bathroom I,realized it was exactly the same way I left it the walls where a light marble lilac shade, the floors where tiled with caramel shade the windows where French with netted drapes. wrapping my brown curly hair into a bun, I filled tub with warm water and scented strawberry bathwash and peedles into the water. I took of my clothes and layed down into the tub of warm water I scent of strawberries was very soothing I applied some body wash onto my rag and began cleaning my skin.

minutes later I was out of the bathroom getting dressed I wore a purple Long sleeve sweat shirt and a grays areopostale sweat pants my hair was still in a bun . Vanessa was on the computer once I had got out

6 pm

the Girls got dressed for prom Alyssa wore a ivy strapless long gown with black pump and sliver accessories . with my hair curled and rapped into a bun with silver flowery pins also with a light make up applied . Vanessa wore a sky baby blue mini dress with black pumps and silver accessories with the hair braided to the side with silver and blue diamond shed pins and a light make up appkied on room her face. as the girls left for the prom they meet up with a couple of their friends from college miley, Megan and Peyton the also met up with alyssa crusher and guess what they sparked she confessed to having feeling for him and he confessed to have feelings for her.
