A blond elvish boy stormed the mansion in search of something, his prized hat. His hat was the symbol of his place as the hero of Hyrule, silly as it was. A particular angel had stolen it from on top of his dirty blond mop of hair. The angel flew down the halls, making it impossible to follow him. But the Hylian was a skilled tracker, able to track anything from squirrels to hawks to playful angels. Taking notice of the swinging light fixtures he followed them, running down the halls.
Reaching the dining room, the hero spotted a pair of white wings in the chandelier. The tanned Greek teen stuck out his tongue at the fair skinned elf and waved his wind sock cap around, tauntingly. Reaching into his utility satchel, he pulled out a boomerang. This particular boomerang had the shape of a wing and the ability to create controlled tornadoes. He reeled his arm back to toss it towards the angel, locking onto the smaller teen. The angel caught wind of his next attack and attempted to fly away but the tornado pulled him into the boomerang. The winds carried him back to the awaiting hero.
Snagging the angel from the air, he held him in bridal style. "No fair, Mr. Utility belt!" The angel pouted. The Hylian's sky blue eyes looked at him skeptically. The angel's grip tightened on the hat. The hero turned with angel still in hand and left the dining room. Once in the privacy of the hallway the hero nuzzles into the angel's neck his own way of saying "Give it back". The Hylian wasn't known for speaking to anyone but was less anxious with the angel, who was also his lover of many years.
Pit, the angel in question, was the hero of Greece and the captain of an entire army under leadership of a Goddess. He was much more older than he appeared, being immortal, he was physically many years younger than his real age. He took his childish looks to his advantage and acted how he looked.
"You don't need your silly hat, Link! You look better with your hair messy," Pit giggled and smiled. The Hylian nipped at the tanned skin to make the angel give in.
Link, a master swordsman and survivalist, was Hyrule's long lost prince. He much preferred a knight's life than the pompous life of a royal. He was also part of a select few called "elites" in this mansion, skilled fighters who were practically immortalized in a hall of fame.
Pit sighed and place the hat on Link's head with a smile. "You're a tease, I hope you know that." Link smirked and placed the angel down. He left his hand out for the angel to take hold of. They walked through the halls back to an arcade-like room. Children ran about as did some other teens. Link leaned against the wall near his friend's Roy and Cloud. Pit watched them play Mario and Donkey Kong's debut game and try to beat each other's scores.
Pit's wings flapped in excitement, "I wanna try!" Roy chuckled, "Sure but good luck beating my score. I'm second place on the cabinet." Pit raises a brow, "Wow...I haven't played this in probably a decade?" Link looked at the angel and moved off the wall so he could see his attempt at the nostalgic game. Pit popped in a coin and started up the game. He stuck his tongue out as he focuses on Jumpman and the opposing barrels. Surprisingly Pit breezes through it without so much as a reaction to the obstacles coming for him. Roy gasped as he passes level after level. Pit's way past his score but he still goes strong. Eventually he slips up and died. He pouts, "Aww I was having fun." Link smiled at his boyfriend. Cloud and Roy exchanged looks before Cloud spoke up, "Do you have any idea what you've just done?" Pit shook his head when a new screen popped up. He smiled and entered in his name and watched as Roy was bumped down to third place and he was put at first. Link's eyes widened when he read the new second place: MJM. Roy pointed at it, "Mario Jumpman Mario! You beat Mario!" Pit's wings fluttered in pride, "I did! Oh my Zeus!" Roy and Cloud gave him fist bumps and friendly back slaps. Link waltzed over and pressed a proud kiss on his temple and gave him a thumbs up.

At dinner, Roy boasted to the entire dining room about how he watched Pit become the new first place on the Leaderboard of Donkey Kong. Pit blushed bright pink at the sudden attention on him. Donkey Kong clapped for him and Mario gave him a nod of respect.
"How'd you do it?" Olimar asked. Pit shrugged, "I just kinda focused to a point where I zoned in. Kinda like second nature I guess? My debut was a platforms so maybe that's why?"
After dinner, Link invited Pit out for a moonlit horse ride. Link whistled for his horse and she trotted out from the stable. Link helped Pit up and then got on behind him. They trotted over to a hill where they watched the moon rise higher and higher. Link loved being outdoors and Pit loved what made Link happy. They listened to the quiet chirps of crickets and the croaks of toads from the forest. Suddenly the light lit up with soft green lights, fireflies. Link held Pit close and kissed his head. Pit leaned back into the embrace and enjoyed the moment. The world froze around them and all that mattered was each other. Link carefully took Pit's chin between his fingers and brought their lips to meet. Pit smiled into the kiss and then pulled away shortly after, "I love you so much, Link." Link smiled and held him tightly, nuzzling his nose into his ear as if to say the same.
A burst of pink light races to them, a fairy. "Link! Princess Zelda says you need to get bed soon! You and her need to get back to Hyrule tomorrow!" Pit sighed and pouted. Link nods at the fairy and taps his boot against Epona to make her trot to the mansion. They ride slowly. Pit doesn't want to be alone again. With his series rumoring to end he'd have lots of free time. It seemed that when Link would come back from his latest project he'd just up and leave again. As if Link sensed his sadness, the blond's hands handed the reigns to Pit so he may softly pet his wings. This always made Pit calm and happy. Link ran his fingers through the feathers and kissed the arches of both appendages. Pit turned his head, cheeks flushed pink, "New adventure?" Link nodded and sighed, petting his boyfriend's brunet hair. "What's this one going to be about?" Link shrugged.
They'd arrived back at the mansion and led Epona back to the stables. Pit stood at the door and waited for Link. Link walked over to his boyfriend and put his hand out for him to take. Pit followed him to his room and smiled, "Let's spend as much time together as we can for now?" Link nodded and unlocked his room door.
As an elite, Link was given bigger accommodations. He was given a king sized bed, a kitchen and den, and a flatscreen television. Pit was left with a twin bed and shared a room with Dark Pit. They did have a flat screen but it wasn't as big as Link's HD TV. Pit sat on the bed waiting for Link to join him. Link went to dress in bed clothes as Pit took off his toga leaving him in his halter top and shorts. Link came back into the main room and laid back against the pillows. Pit curled up next to him as they settled in for watching movies until sleep would claim them.
Pit was slowly dozing off. He didn't want to wake up tomorrow to see Link leaving his life for the next few months. "Link?" Pit whispered. Link looked down from the TV to the angel on his chest. "Promise you'll still love me when you come back?" Link smiled and kisses Pit's lips then his nose then his forehead. He nods and rubs Pit's head till the angel falls asleep. He then turns off the television and holds the Greek close as he's consumed by dreams.
