~Kumiko's POV~

Shisui, Itachi and I went to Ichiraku's after training, but Itachi had to leave which means it was just Shisui and I.

"So Kumiko I take it you'll join us again tomorrow?" Shisui asked rather happily and I shook my head.

"Gomen'nasai, but I promised Sasuke that I would spend time with him." I apologized and Shisui looked deep in thought for a moment.

"Why don't I join you?" He questioned and I looked at him in surprise.

"I wouldn't mind." I told him with a smile before adding. "It's your choice."

I couldn't help the smile that formed on my face as I chatted with Shisui while we walked towards the compound, but it quickly disappeared when I had a bad feeling.

"Kumiko?" Shisui looked at me with a slight frown and I immediately jumped to the rooftops.

"Go and get Hokage-sama!"

I jumped back to the streets and rounded a corner. The sight before me made my blood boil, I felt sick and wanted nothing more than too kill everyone involved.

Right there on the floor of the alleyway was a young boy, no older than seven in a pool of his own blood while being beaten and stabbed by the villagers as they chanted vile names towards him.

As soon as I heard the name 'demon' shouted from the group, I let my killing intent sky rocket. The villagers and few shinobi in the group turned around and began to shake as I activated my sharingan.

"Believe me when I tell you this." I growled as I stepped closer towards the group. "None of you are getting out of here alive."

I was seething as I stepped closer to the frozen group of 'Demon Hunters'.

'How dare they harm Naruto!?'

But before I could even try to take their lives, the Hokage and a few ANBU appeared along with Shisui.

"Hokage-sama!" The previously frozen group seem to relax at the sight of the old man, however as they were about to defend themselves, they all buckled under his killing intent.

"Silence!" The Hokage bellowed. "ANBU! Take this group to Ibiki." He ordered making the whole group pale. "Kumiko take Naruto to the Uchiha compound, I will speak to you tomorrow."

"Yes, sir." I walked towards the injured blonde and gently picked him up before sharing a look with Shisui who nodded and we both jumped away.
