"(Y/N)! I need some help!" Engi yells. "Coming!" You shout back. You run as fast as you can to him. You're currently an engineer in training and you're really good at it but something seems off. You see that Engineer is pacing back and forth. "Everything ok?" You ask. "I'm having a bit of trouble." He replied. "With what?" You ask. "There's this girl I like. I'm not sure if she likes me back. Should I ask her our or should I wait for her to make the move?" He asks. "Why don't you ask me and find out." You flirt. He smiles. "You got me." He blushes. "Well, when and where?" You ask. "Grillby's. 8:00." "Sounds perfect."
(Time skip to 7:55)
"Ready?" He asks you. "Ready." "Hop in." He heads you into his car. You drive over to Grillby's. You enter the restaurant. It also has a bar. You get a table for 2. Everything was perfect. Well, almost perfect. You notice that a bunch of guys are looking at you. You don't know why. You look at yourself in your phone camera. You look lovely. "What is up with the guys?" You ask Engi. He looks around. "Well, we needed the check anyway." He replied. You check the time. It's almost 10:00. Your phone starts to ring. "I'll be right back." You tell him. He nods. You leave the restaurant to anwser your phone. It's Medic. He's calling because tomorrow he needs me to grab something. You tell him you will and hung up the phone. Before you could back inside, a man grabs your arm. "What do you want?" You ask him. "Kiss me." He replies. "No!" You yell. "Cmon. You know you want to. I saw you looking at me." He says. "Leave me alone! Let me go!" You shout. "We're meant to be. So-" he was interrupted when Engineer came out. "What in sands hill is going on?" Engi asks. You punch the man in the face and run behind Engi. "He tried to kiss-" You were interrupted when some woman came out. "What's going on?" She asks. "This man...tried to kiss me! On my date!" You yell. The woman was in shock. "My husband...tried to kiss you?!" She shouts. Your husband?! You think to your self. All 3 of you are in shock. The husband tries to run away but you punch him in the face before he could. "We're getting a divorce!" The wife yelled at the husband. You and Engi walk back to his car. "Look, I'm sorry if this date didn't go as planned. I guess you're too beautiful that all the guys want you." Engi tells you as you both get in the car. You blush. "By the way, I made something for you that I want you to try." He tells you. You smile as your eyes start to feel heavy. You take a quick nap.
(A few minutes later)
You wake back in the base, on the couch. You see Scout looking at you. "Oh good. Hey hard hat, she's awake!" Scout yells to someone in the kitchen. "I wanted to give you this tomorrow but because of what happened tonight, I think you can have it now." Engi tells you as he walks in the room with a cake. You taught Engi how to bake. He gives you a slice. You try it and love it. He smiles. "Now get some rest. After all, we have a mission tomorrow." Engi tells you as he kisses your cheek. You kiss him back on the lips. He does too. Scout gives you both a thumbs up 👍.
