I know sometimes it's easier to just drop everything. To let go and fall off that mountain. Drop down that hill. But its the relentlessness that makes us humans so special to begin with. The will to do something and not give up. To fight through the pain, to climb that mountain even though it's too high. The climb may be steep but think about it. After all the pain is gone and you're at the top. There it is. The feeling of being so high up. The wind in your face. The view of everything down below. That's why you just don't give up, because everything is down below. You are above almost everything. You can look down the mountain and think I climbed that distance, I raced to the top, those rocks, those tracks, I left there, not anyone else. I left that trail, and I'm damn proud of it too.
