A/N: I think I'm going to have a streak of starting multiple stories....I know I should be working on my other stories, but this idea came up and I had to write it. Okay, so in this story, the reader is going to be blind, but you will still be a ninja. Because of something that happened in the past, you will try to distance yourself from everybody. When you get put on Team 7, that's going to change. Your past and backstory will be explained later on. This chapter is based slightly on kat's beginning. You can find her on Quotev. Well, on with the show!

~[Y/n]'s POV~

'No! Please, don't hurt them! Please!'

'Why should I listen to a brat like you? Because you're my friend? Hah! I never saw you as a friend! I've hated you! I've always hated you! So suffer!'

'NO!!!!'

I wake with a start, eyes wide and mouth agape. There's black, as far as I can see, forcing me to sigh. Taking a huge gulp of air that seems too thick for my lungs to grasp, my head falls into my open palms. It's not till they're resting inside that I realize just how much I miss seeing. There was once a time I could see, but it's been so long and I don't remember what I saw.

The memories I do remember are fuzzy and of no use. Blurry pictures and the ghost of sounds replay in my head. It's not fair. How do I even know if what I envision can actually be, or if it's something my mind enjoys torturing me with?

I rub my eyes with my hands, a phantom pain running through me. It's almost as if I'm trying to wipe the dirt from my eyes or trying to cast a magic spell so I can see again.

As if that could ever happen.

No matter how many times I try, no matter what I do, no matter how many times those same [E/c] eyes open, they don't share the light they receive with their holder. It's not fair.

Why should one have eyes if they can never truly be used? What do they intend to show you if not what's in front of the body you're forcibly trapped in till the day you die?

It's not fair. It's not fair..

It's not fair.....

"It isn't fair." With a small sob, tears ran down my cheeks and I pulled my knees close to my body; retreating further into myself; into my mind.

'So suffer!'

...I am.

...I am suffering.

Are you happy?

Are you happy in Hell, watching me suffer?

A/N: I am depressing. So how was that? Was it good? Bad? Let me know in the comments! I'll post a few chapters and if you want me to continue, tell me. Also, updates are going to be sporadic. I've never seen Naruto and I don't want to write down anything wrong, so I'll have to find the time to watch it. But I'm really busy, so I don't really have a lot of time. Anyways, follow, comment, and vote. It motivates me to see people reading and liking my stories. See you next time!
