Third POV

The hunt for the one who had done this to Rosa was not very fruitful just as the hunt for her identity. The only clue that she had to her past was her dreams of a forest and a boy who was so desperately trying to reach her or to even say something to her but all that could be heard was the forest and then a wolfs whimper before she awakens.

But as time went on the pain of not knowing got worse for Rosa and the more better she got at hiding her feelings.

Present

Rosa POV

"What are you hiding?" Magnus yelled

"Nothing really" I said

"Oh please for the love of all things me, don't tell me you accidently put Simon in a wall again because that boy has been through enough as it is" he scowled at me

"That happened once and it wasn't my fault he walked in when I was trying to do a transportation spell. It was meant to move a cup into another room." I pouted

"And how did he end up upside down then?" I looked down

"I might of said the wrong word but why do all the spells have to be in ancient Greek?" This just made Magnus chuckle

"Because that is where magic began and don't think about changing the topic what have you been hiding from me for the last three weeks?"

It wasn't like I was the one who changed the topic or anything he just had to bring up the Simon incident.

"Fine well I might of found out who the guy in my dreams is" Magnus's face drop considerable

"Oh and who do you think he is?" I saw that there was sadness in Magnus's eyes but what put that sadness there I do not know

"His my mate and before you say anything about the bond thing I talked to Luke and he told me that the reason my mate hasn't found me might have something about me not having a wolf." Magnus shook his head

"You went to Luke before me?" I saw the sadness turn to pain and I knew I have hurt him

"I only went to him because you had just got together with Alec and then the stuff with valentine happen and my training. I just could find the right time to say anything." Magnus nodded but the pain didn't leave his face

"I understand but were you going to tell me at all or were you going to just leave tomorrow without saying anything" I shook my head this time

"I was actually going to tell you at dinner tonight but you beat me to it. I can never keep anything from you Magnus you like an uncle to me" I hugged him

"Thank you for not saying father cause I do not look like a father" he chuckled

Magnus pulled away and smiled to me "I'm going to miss you baby girl and just remember that I am just a portal away okay?"

I smiled back and nodded "Back at you old man"

He chuckled again "Go and train" and with that he pushes me out the door

I ran out the door and straight into Kai almost falling over at the same time if it wasn't for him catching me.

"Slow down there or you'll hurt yourself" he chuckled

Kai is a shadow hunter that hasn't got a stick up his a$$ like most of them and is one of my best friends here.

"Hey Kai, how ya doing?" I took a step back and rocked on my heels

"Oh just fine, just waiting outside the institute for an hour for someone so I could teach them runes." he said as he crossed his arms over his chest
