"You're telling me where we're going!?" I ask, relieved I don't have to sit here any longer wondering where she's taking me.

"Where is the one place we would go if we could go anywhere in the world?" She asks me with her signature giant grin plastered on her face.

I stare at her with wide eyes and the same giant smile as hers. "No! You're joking! We're NOT going to Europe!"

McKenzie and I promised each other 4 years ago that we would travel around europe when we finish high-school.

She just sits there nodding, grinning even bigger now (if that's even possible).

"OH MY GOD!" I practically yell, hoping this is actually real life and I'm not going to wake up any second now.

20 minutes later, when it's finally sunk in that we're actually going to Europe, I realize that I haven't got anything: clothes, underwear, shoes... ANYTHING!

Then I finally catch on. "Ummm Kenz..."
"Yeah?" She says.
"Are you sure we're going to Europe? This better not be a prank!"

I think about all the pranks McKenzie's played on me that she finds absolutely hilarious, and might I add, I'm not sure I feel the same way!

"What? No! Of course not!" She doesn't sound like she's lying but I still don't believe her.

"Riiiight... so would you like to maybe explain to me why we didn't bring any luggage?!"
If this is a prank, she didn't plan it out very well!

"Becauuuuse..!." She says, grinning again. "Becauuse...?" I say, waiting for her to continue. I hate it when she says "becauuuuse" .

"Well... I was just gonna take you shopping instead!" She knows I LOVE shopping and so does she.

"No way!" I say declining her offer. "What, Why?" She actually looks hurt.

"Because, I am not letting you spend your money on things I don't need. Especially when you just bought me a plane ticket!" I say, as I insisted on paying her back for it, but she's just so stubborn and wouldn't let me.

"Look, I've been saving up for this trip for ages and I did it for a reason!" She says, staring at the long road infront of us. "Kenzie, that's not fair! You can't just pay for everything."

"But Sky, I wanted to surprise you with this trip that we've been dreaming about for over 4 years now!"

"But how did you know I was going to text you? You can't get plane tickets for that night...can you?" I think about how she must be a mind reader or something!

"Perfect timing I guess!" She says with a shrug. "What do you mean 'perfect timing'?" I ask, adjusting myself so that my legs are crossed on the seat, I find it more comfortable that way, even though it's probably extremely dangerous.

"Well, I had actually planned this trip to happen next month on the 8th, when the school holidays start. But I accendently put it down for the 8th of this month instead of next! And i kinda forgot to cancel the flight!" She explained as she looks a little embarrassed, but giggles anyway.

"Ohh!" So she's not a mind reader!

When I realize we went off topic from when I was trying to persuade her into not paying for everything, I was about to say something to McKenzie, until she interupted me.

"We're here!" She yells, shaking me with one hand and the other still on the stearing wheel (she has a habbit of shaking me when she gets super excited).

Once we get into the airport we go straight to Starbucks and get a hot chocolate each, since it's really cold at this time of night.

We sit down, sipping our drinks, waiting to be able to board the plane. I'm feeling a little anxious since this is my first time flying.

Once we've boarded the plane, my anxiety starts to increase so I decide to listen to some music and try to fall asleep since it's 12:30am and it's going to be a long flight!

A/N: Heeey! I hope your enjoying the story so far!
I know it's kinda boring at the moment but I'm trying to make it more interesting as I go.
And I'm thinking of writing another story when I've finished this one but I'm not sure yet!
Byeee! ♡
