Cora's P.O.V

A few months later, it was the last day before Christmas break, and it was also a Hogsmeade trip.

I was going with Missy, Austin, Mollie, and the Marauders... And their friend Shad.

First, we all went to the Three Broomsticks,  and Professor Slughorn came over.

"Miss Zappin, Miss Expin, Miss Poweron, and Mr. Expin, my Christmas party for the Slug Club is Christmas Eve.  You may each bring a friend." he said, then left.

I looked at Sirius, Missy looked at Remus, Austin told James he was now invited, and Mollie started talking to Shad.

Funny thing was, Sirius and Remus already knew we were going to invite them.

Finally, the night of the party came, and I couldn't believe I was actually wearing a dress. A red, strapless dress.

When we left the common room, the Marauders and Shad were already waiting.

"Well you look ravishing in red, my lady." Sirius grinned, mock bowing.

"Thank you kind gentleman." I replied in kind.

"He is not a gentleman." Remus said, shaking his head.

"And she is most definitely not a lady." Missy added.

"Well then." Sirius and I chorused, slightly offended

We all went down to Slughorn's office, where the party was being held.

"Well, at least Regulus is here for us to make fun of." I said brightly.

Sirius just laughed at me.

About an hour into the party, Regulus began bothering me while Sirius was hanging out with James.

"No Regulus. I will not dance with you because I do not dance with little kids."

He walked away furiously.

"What did you say to him?" Sirius asked from behind me.

I explained the conversation, and he just laughed.

Him laughing was much better than him yelling at his brother. I like his laugh.

We stood there for a few moments, and I swear,  he keeps trying to make people think we are friends with benefits, because he squeezed my thigh again, except this time it was my upper thigh.

"Sirius!" I exclaimed, punching his arm and shoving him.

"What?" he asked innocently.

"We are not friends with benefits like everyone seems to think, so get the idea out of your head."

"I don't see what would be so bad about it if we were." he said.

"That's just messed up Sirius. You're just perverted."

"I'm a fourteen year old boy. Of course I am. I'll be back."

He walked away, and a girl I recognized as a friend of Severus Snape, and a Griffindor, walked over.

"Hi, I'm Lily Evans." she said.

"I'm Cora Zappin." I replied, shaking her hand.

"I already told your friends, but Potter and Black are not the best people to hang around if you want to actually do something with your life. They do nothing but cause trouble."

"Oh well. Thanks for the advice, but I get along with them fine, and Sirius has only gotten me in detention once, because he was being a pervert."

"Ok, I thought I should introduce myself and let you know that,  so I'll see you around."

And with that she left.

Missy's P.O.V

A girl called Lily told me James and Sirius were troublemakers, and I told her to tell Cora that.

Currently, Remus and I were talking about classes.

We're at a party and talking about class.

We're total nerds, right?

Suddenly,  he asked me to dance.

"Um... Sure." I replied.

We danced for several songs, and he just laughed as I felt my cheeks turning red.

And the surprising thing was that he pulled me aside on our way back to the common room.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

"S-sure." I replied, blushing again.

He kissed me, which took me slightly by surprise.

I got to my dorm that night, and Mollie and Cora asked why I was so happy, so I told them, and Mollie was freaking out because she was so hyper about it.

Cora was preoccupied with something.

"Cora, what are you doing?" I asked.

"I forgot to finish Sirius's Christmas present." she replied.
