Sirius's P.O.V

By fifth year, Cora and I were still good friends, in fact, She was hanging around me more than her other friends combined.

In sixth year, Lily finally started dating James.

I also had something big planned for sixth year.

Cora's P.O.V

There was a Hogsmeade trip on Valentine's Day in my sixth year.

The first place I went was the Shrieking Shack,  because that's where I was supposed to meet everyone else.

Instead of finding them, I found a note, so I assumed it was from them.

But it wasn't.

Cora

There is something I have been meaning to tell you for a very long time. As this was my first chance to tell you,  it has to be to day.

      For the next note, go to Honeydukes.

I was confused.

Sirius's P.O.V

I talked Slughorn into having a Valentine's Day party with fireworks,  and lots of them. It actually wasn't hard.

Now the rest of the plan has to go right.

Cora's P.O.V

I got to Honeydukes,  and several people were telling me there was a letter with my name on it by the chocolate.

Cora

Sorry to keep you running around,  but really, I'm just burning time until Slughorn's party.

That's where the next clue will be. For now, here's this.

Inside the small bag, there was twenty galleons.

Someone was beong generous.

I bought some chocolate with the money, actually, a lot.

I went to find the others, and they didn't question the amount of chocolate, or who it was from.

They probably thought I just bought it.

While I sat there with me chocolate, which I finished quickly, I thought about my father, and without my knowledge, a tear ran down my cheek.

"Cora, are you ok?" Sirius asked, stroking my cheek with his thumb.

"Yeah, I was just thinking about my dad, that's all." I replied, setting my hand on the one of his that was on my cheek still.

We were all silent for a while, because everyone present had been to the funeral.

"I think I am going to die of chocolate overdose." I smiled, trying to lighten the mood.

They all started laughing and Sirius shook his head.

Suddenly, Sirius transformed into his animagus form, and I pet his head.

"Cora, do you know how weird that is?" Austin asked.

"Well he's not Sirius, he is a dog. Big difference. " I replied as the dog Sirius laid his head on my leg.

Several hours later, I was getting ready for the party.

I was wearing a pink, yes, I wore pink, which is not happening again, a pink strapless dress that was ankle length with a slit to halfway up my thigh, and a pair of pink flats.

Shad and Remus showed up to escort Mollie and Missy.

I wasn't going with anyone, so I just walked with them.

As soon as I got there, Slughorn came over to talk.

"Ahh, Miss Zappin! A young man left something for you, here it is."

Then he walked away.

Cora

Meet me in the middle of the dance floor at midnight. I swear this is the last note.

Also, in the bag with it was more chocolate. I saw that by then it was five till midnight.

I waited a few minutes, and went to stand in the middle of the dance floor like the note said.

At midnight on the dot, hundreds of fireworks went off, and we could see them through the ceiling of the Great Hall.

I just stood there watching them and eating chocolate when someone's arms wrapped around me.

"I thought you said you were going to die of chocolate overdose?"

"Oh well. Hello Sirius."

"Did you like today?"

"It was definitely interesting. You were behind the fireworks and party too, weren't you?"

"Yeah, but ol' Sluggy didn't take that much convincing."

I turned to look at him, and there was something different about him compared to usual.

I smiled at  him, and he spun me around so we could dance.

I layed my head on his chest as he pulled me closer.

Sirius's P.O.V

I wish she knew how long I've been waiting for this. I'm glad everything worked out as I planned.

"We should go for a walk." she said softly,  looking up at me.

I just smiled.

"Sure."

We walked up to the Astronomy tower,  and sat there for a while.

"Cora?"

"Yes?"

"I love you."

"I love you too, Sirius."

She put and arm around my waist as I put one around her shoulders.

Cora's P.O.V

I wonder how long he planned that. It was perfect.

I stood to go to bed, and he did as well, slipping his arms around my waist and kissing me.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back, causing him to deepen the kiss.

I never knew how good it would feel to have my first kiss, I'm just glad it was with Sirius.
