Lee looked around... all his men were dead. Their faces bloody and bruised. He could see looks of terror frozen on their pale faces. "I've made a mistake" Lee hoarsely whispered. "Well, you win some lose some General", Grant smirked as he rode away on his fine white stallion. "What a douche bag" thought Lee.
Grant was right, but the confederacy had lost more battles than they had won. "Maybe" Lee thought, "it's time to retire". He wrote a letter to president Davis, it read, " My dear, we have been apart for so long, I miss you. How are things back home? I hope you are doing well my love." He grinned as he thought about Davis. Where would he read this letter, on the porch, in the parlor, maybe in the bath. " I really messed up this time baby, I sent thousands of men to their deaths. This got me thinking maybe I should quit and come home. I'm sure there are other great generals and I would love to spend more time with you. Please consider it Lov, yours forever and always Lee".
