Jimin opened his apartment door and closed it slowly. Before he was able to turn around and place his bag down a sudden voice he wasn't expecting caught him off guard.
"Where were you?" said an upsetting yet calm voice.
Jimin startled turned around to face the person whose voice came from, "Jesus Christ, Hoseok hyung you scared me." He chuckled placing his keys on the coffee table near the door. "What brings you here?"
"I thought of bringing you some warm chicken soup, since you texted me last night that you weren't feeling that well."
He avoided eye contact while placing his bag to the floor "H-Hyung you didn't ha–"
"Why did you lie to me Jimin? I thought we were brothers... Brothers don't lie to each other, Jimin."
"I didn't lie, I really wasn't feeling that well, at all." Jimin bit his lip remembering Yoongi's and Daehyun's fight but also because he couldn't face Hoseok's pained expression.
"That's weird, because I don't remember seeing you here when I got my ass up after the performance to buy you your favorite soup and deliver it to you here." Hoseok seemed very upset at this point. "But let's leave that for now, where were you anyway? You keep missing dance practice, being late to perform and even skipping it. So where have you been, what is so important that keeps you so occupied that you don't have time for the job we both worked our asses off since we were just a bunch of kids?"
"I'm sorry, I was just busy with... stuff." Jimin said looking away.
"You should be busy with dancing right now, Jimin not 'stuff'. You skipped 3 performances already, I keep getting yelled at for your expense." Hoseok raised his voice slightly sounding more disappointed than upset.
"I'm sorry..."
"I don't want you to say 'you're sorry', I want you to explain what the fuck is wrong, Jimin." the older male raised his voice just a bit more, making Jimin's eyes squint from the change of volume.
"Do you not want this? Are you even taking it seriously anymore? What have you been doing these days? I rarely see you around anymore." He continued making gestures with his hands while talking.
"It's not like that," crouched to pick up his bag and began to walk towards his bedroom. He sighed softly placing his bag on his bed, "I told you, I was busy. I'm a human being hyung, sometimes I will want to do other things than dancing. I rarely ever have free time for myself nowadays, I'm always working."
Hoseok followed him continuing to lecture him, "Are you being serious right now? You had free time Jimin, it was your choice to apply for a second job at the coffee shop." he raised his voice but Jimin remained silent while removing his coat.
"Why won't you tell me, what's wrong? Did you get in trouble?" the boy kept asking while Jimin kept silent while sighing.
"Did anyone follow you? Did someone harass you? You shouldn't keep things like that inside, Minie. We are brothers; we tell everything to each other don't we? Don't you trust me, Minie? We are family Minie, if something is wrong you should talk–"
"God Hoseok, stop acting like you're my mother!" Jimin whined rolling his eyes.
"If I don't then who else will, huh? I raised you like you were my brother Minie and you are my brother. It's 'cause I care about you!"
"You're just... You're just making it such a big deal."
"When you start taking care of your own responsibilities without having me deal with them then I'll stop making it a big deal!"
