Devin and Hannah were both in band. So they would always have to go to the games and perform. Devin was a trumpet and Frenchhorn player and Hannah was a flag twirler. Dmitri and I weren't in band but we'd like to go to the games anyway. We both hated football but decided to go just to watch our friends. So, that Friday, Dmitri and I went to the game. He picked me up at my house and away we went.

We were kinda early so we decided to just chill on the bleachers and chat.

We honestly... didn't really talk much. We didn't know each other well but we were in the same friend group so I guess that made us friends? I also knew his girlfriend since preschool! Anyways, as we sat watching the football players warm up, we some how started a conversation that introduced the topic of homecoming. I told him how a couple guys asked me and I didn't know them really and they were kinda clingy. He laughed. "You don't have to go with either of them. I actually don't have a date. Jessica goes to a privet school so she can't go with me and I can't go with her. So if you'd like, wanna go with me?"

I smiled and nodded. "Id love to, dude!"

And that was the starting of our punk shit friendship.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't think he was attractive. And I admit, he was a pretty charming guy. What can I say? I'm a sucker for guitarists. But of course, I knew my boundaries. He was dating one of my closest childhood friends. But it's pretty ironic. You'll find out why as we get farther into the story.
