Chapter Six

I woke to the noise of some one tapping on my bedroom door, “you awake Aradia” mam asked, “yeah how” , “theres blokes called Brian and Jimmy waiting on you downstairs” mum replied.

“oh crap” i shouted jumping out of bed “tell them ill be 10 mins mam” with which i jumped in the shower and found the nearest clothes i could get my hands on finally ready i went down stairs.

“HEY GORG”Jimmy shouted “hey Jimmy how are you?” “am good gorg cant wait too get to johnnys and have a right good sesh “ i looked at brian who rolled his eyes and asked if i was ready to go. “yeah am gonna say bye to the family “ i went through to the kitchen to say i may not be back tonight and first thing i got was is that him u like coz he kinda cute “which one mam?” either her reply was “erm no actually he hasnt come with them “ i told her and then the lecture started again .

Finally on our way to Spooks and Johnny’s Jimmy wouldnt shut up he was like he was hyper, “hey i know summit you dont know Aradia “ he said, “Oh and that is “ i asked “our zacky lurvesssss you “ he replied back “shut up jimmy i dont think so “ i said looking down at my hands “well he does, he does we all know “ “thanks for thatJimmy” the rest of the drive was pleasant was in stitches listening to Brian and Jimmy singing in weird voices brian spoke up “Aradia?” uh huh “you know what u can call me syn and jimmy the rev” eh what u mean i asked ,"well they are our stage names Matts is Mshadows, Johnny’s Johnny christ and Zacky is Zacky Vengeance” Oh right i said, with that we arrived at Spooks I was the first out the car and straight into the house where i was greeted by Spooks “hello you ok hun” she asked “yer apart from being told that Zacky lurvssss me in Jimmys words hahaha” with this i looked at Spooks and her face drew blank and give a half smile. i helped Spooks take the food and drink outside ready and johnny got the BBQ started, not long after Matt, val and michelle arrived and Zacky about 20 mins later, looked like it was going to be an all nighter as both Zacky and Matt brought 4 cases lager each and 3 bottles of jack daniels that wasnt even mentioning what Brian and jimmy Spooks and Johnny had.

While the ladies relaxed around the pool the men well in this case boys were acting out all except johnny who was patiently cooking the food “hey johnny come her “ Jimmy shouted johnny went over to see what he wanted all of a sudden Matt Brian Jimmy and zacky tackled him to the floor stripped him of his clothes and each taking a limb swung him high let go and he landed in the pool “thats what you get lil gnome “ “grow up guys “ val and michelle moaned , Matt went over to them both and asked why when they were having fun just coz they didnt like it with this the twins got up and pushed matt into the pool , Johnny nmade his excuses to go and get dry clothes , while me and Spooks was talking i could feel again the sensation of someone staring i turned to look and it was Zacky who quickly turned away and went the colour of beetroot,Spooks being the kinda person she is started teasing which made the situation worse so i told her under no circumstances would i go over and talk to Zacky at hearing his name zacky quickly turned back and started staring again.

Johnny and Matt came back from getting changed , johnny checking food and matt handing out cans “sorry to be a pain Matt but i cant drink lager makes me ill lol “ i said “thats ok can u drink spirits etc?” matt asked “erm ya i love them “ so matt handed me a double vodka.

Jimmy stood up well the best he could and said “a toasht to aradia welcome to your new home town and welcome into our group of friends “ with this he threw his glass of drink over his face and dropped into the pool everyone was in stitches at him , Johnny had rigged up some speakers outside so we had a bit of music luckily no one would complain as there was no neighbours Brian was staggering round if he stood still he would take 3 steps back 2 steps forward matt val michelle and spooks were all in pool leaving just me and zacky on the side lines.

God this was embarrassing none of us could look at one and other with out going red in the face and looking away to which Jimmy noticed and went bounding over to zack and whispered something in his ear not long after Zack got up and walked into the house 5 mins later Jimmy came over to me and asked if i would get some coke out the fridge “yeah sure no problems” i said just as i got into kitchen Jimmy slammed and locked the door and at top of his voice shouted “hahaha yas aint leaving till yas have made babies” Zacky came through and had a shouting match through the glass when he realized it was no good he came over and sat at the kitchen counter with me at first there was an awkward silence between us which made me giddy and for no reason i burst out laughing which seemed to amuse Zacky “what ya laughing at?” he asked “i dont know i go like this sometimes if im nervous”(well at least we spoke) so aradia tell me about yourself “um what like “ i asked “ “well anything your choice so i sat and told him bet he wished i hadnt the look on his face was awful “im so sorry he said no wonder you wanted away from that place what kind of man can do that to another human especially a woman “so zacky its your turn so zacky told me about himself and also how long he’d known they guys for “you are all more like brothers than best mates zack” i said “yea we are aint we “ replied Zacky we just realized that jimmy Matt Johnny n Brian were all spying on us so we decided to move to another part of the house where no one could be nosey we must have sat and spoke for 5 hours non stop when we decided to see if Jimmy would let us out the house and join back in the party.

I realised after we spoke that i liked zacky a lot more than i thought.

After a bit of persuasion from zacky we finally got let out , Zack asked if id like a drink and i said yeah he come over with a bottle of jack daniels and we sat on pool edge dangling our feet in the water while the others messed on when zacky went for another bottle Spooks came over and sat next to me “well hows it going “ she asked wudnt you like to know i laughed to her “well i hope yas are getting on as he is partnering you to my wedding after all he is one of our best men “oh “ with that she laughed got up and walked away.
