(This is in Alfred's point of view instead of yours. Your name will be Crimson.)
Arthur, Crimson, and I were playing basketball outside of Arthur's house. We were doing a shootout and so far, I was leading. It was a hot day outside, so we each had two water bottles. Crimson and I only drank one half, and Arthur drank both. I raised my brow in wonder of how he could drink that much at once.
Crimson scored a
basket and she cheered. I drank a bit more water. It was a scorching 32°c in the sun so we slathered on alot of sunscreen. Except for Crimson, who put on spf 30 bronzer. No surprise. We played for a long two hours. After me and Arthur became a sweaty mess (Crimson was totally fine, being the weirdo she is) "Crimson, Alfred, let's go inside!" Arthur shouted. We nodded, and followed him inside. His house was huge and empty. Not empty enough to echo though, disappointingly. We sat down in his living room couch, Crimson lying face down and wriggling around like usual. She was complaining about trying to crack her bones. We all laughed. "Hey, let's do a puzzle!" Arthur suggested, Crimson and I nodded.
We sat at his kitchen table and set it up. It was a 1000 piece puzzle, and we agreed not to leave the table until it was done, except for a break. We started on it. "Arthur, you find edge pieces." Crimson ordered, Arthur agreeing. "Alfred, you flip the pieces with me." I nodded. I sat beside Crimson, and she sat close by Arthur. We got started. Five minutes later, Arthur made a face that looked like someone pinched him really hard. Crimson looked up, and saw Arthur's expression.
She looked at me, expecting an explanation. I shrugged, and redirected my gaze to Arthur. His expression relaxed, but, he was still shuffling like mad. Crimson smirked to herself. I kept doing my thing, wondering what was up with Arthur. I turned to Crimson to ask if she knew anything and she didn't reply. Arthur kept fidgeting and gave up trying with the puzzle. His hands were all shaky. A small whimper escaped his mouth. and almost like a dog, Crimson instantly looked back up at him, and once again smiled to herself. "Arthur, are you ok?" I finally said, raising a brow. "I...- never mind." He replied.
I shrugged and went back to putting pieces together. We had done 589 pieces and had only 411 pieces to go. Suddenly, breaking the short silence, there was a pitter-patter noise. I guess Crimson heard it too, because we simultaneously looked at Arthur, his face turning a bright red. Crimson, instinctively, looked at his chair and the floor. Her eyes widened, and she also blushed a deep red before looking down. Tears bubbled up in Arthur's eyes as he smashed his head against the table. "It's alright." I said, willing to cheer him up. He let out a small sob, and Crimson still blushing.
I didn't know what to say. I got back to doing the puzzle as Arthur ran upstairs. He came back with a new pair of jeans on, and a towel in his hand. I looked away, knowing what he was doing. Unlike Crimson, who couldn't take her eyes off the scene. "This...is getting boring..." He said, everyone agreed. We went to his basement and started to play "call of duty: black ops 3"
Until Crimson had to go. I ended up sleeping over. The
End
