OK, here we go! This one was from @emmrobin, and this is going to be very interesting. Some part of this story are going to be just guesses, since she wanted to see what I would do with the storyline. Hope you'll like it!

"Mrs. Weasley, why didn't I receive a letter...? I know magic and can do it, too!" Grey asked at the dinner table. Molly almost choked on her food. She looked at Arthur for help.

"We-well, Grey. Maybe the owl got lost on the way here." Arthur said, trying to comfort Grey. Molly nudged Arthur's arm.

"Are you trying to make her sad! She won't buy that!"  Molly whispered to him, and like on queu.

"But Ron got his letter... why would they use different owls for the same address?" Grey said very matter-of-factly. She was always very smart. Molly gave Arthur the stink-eye.

"Don't worry, love. You've nothing to worry." Molly said and patted Grey's head. Grey huffed. Fred and George decided to have a word in this.

"Maybe you are squib?" George asked.

"Or just so bad that they decided not to have you?" Fred continued. Of course they meant no harm, but how could Grey know.

"No, I am good enough!" Grey yelled.

"Fred and George, stop that!" Molly said. The twins shrugged.

"I don't see any other explanation." George said bluntly.

"No!" Grey stood up. A few of the dishes on the table started to shake. "I am not a squib, I can do magic!" she started to freak out and the dishes shook harder.

"Grey, calm down. We know you can do magic. The boys were just messing around." Molly tried to calm her down, but Grey was so confused. Why wouldn't they send her a letter?

"I-I..." Grey tried to say something. Molly waved everyone to leave the table, as the dishes shook harder.

"Grey, sweetie, let's go." Molly said, and motioned Grey to come to her. Grey started to calm down. The dishes stood still. Grey hiccuped from the tears that had quietly rolled down her cheeks. Molly engulfed her in a hug.

"It's okay, darling. Let's go." Molly said and rubbed her back motherly.

"I'm... sorry." Grey whispered.

----------

Grey lied on her bed at the Weasleys. She was remembering that one incident. She never got her letter to Hogwarts.

At that time she was only 11, it felt like such a big deal back then. Now that she's older she doesn't really care. She isn't allowed to do magic, though. Well, she doesn't want to. She has tried to distant herself from all the magic, which is kinda hard, since she lives with the Weasleys, who are magic.

She has been living with the Weasleys her whole life. Her parents were not around that much when she was young, and unfortunately, they died.

Grey spent a lot of time with the Potters, when she was just a baby. She had actually been with them when Lord Voldemort came to kill Harry. She wasn't hurt, neither was Harry, if you don't count the scar on his forehead. Grey actually still has nightmare's of that night. She had vivid memories of a green light and Lilly Potter screaming.

Grey didn't have any living relatives after her parents died, but fortunately for her, the Weasleys gladly took her in. Grey was so grateful for them. And still is. Even though they didn't have much, they were still open to take her in.
