Chapter 17

Cynthia:I know,I know,Sorry for the late update my science packet is due tomorrow and I'm not even done yet.

Toby took a quick glance at Masky and Hoody before running off after Edlin. He caught up to her within seconds.

"Edlin",Toby said finally next to her making her stop completely and look at Toby.

"What happened?",He asked grabbing onto her hand.

"She was saying shit she shouldn't have."Edlin said with gritted teeth.

Edlin and Toby walked along the pavement that lead to Edlins House.When they finally arrived ,She took her house key out of her pocket and opened the door letting Toby and herself in.

They both dropped their bags next to the door and continued silently to the living room.

Sitting in the living room was a Black Estaban guitar with Blue painted on flowers going around the it.

"You play Guitar to?",Toby Asked pointing at it.

"Yeah,my brother taught me"She said walking towards it and picking it up.she walked it with her to the couch and started to Strum chords of it.

"Where is he now" Toby asked once again sitting in front of her.

"Not sure.He left with my dad and never came back."She replied struming a few more chords before looking up at Toby and asking,

"What about you,Do you have any siblings?"

"I had a sister.She died in a car accident." He replied looking down alittle.His sister and mom were the only two of three people he truly cared about.The other was Edlin.

What got him so close to her?He is not so sure.Maybe its their similar pasts are something,but He cares for her a lot more than he planned because of it.
