"I didn't really mind" she giggled making me smile.we laid in the grass full of sunflowers talking comfortably with each other,letting the time tick away from us.soon the glow of the sun faded as it began to set.

"I should start heading home" Edlin said with a frown.I got up grabbing on to Edlin's hand and helping her off the grown.

we made our way out of the meadow and to the path leading towards her house.

"so,where's your parents?if you don't mind me asking"she asked still keeping her hands entwined with mine.

"I killed my dad,he was a bit abusive to me,my mom,and sister.My mom is living with my aunt as far as I know." I said totally leaving out my sister before adding

"My sister died in a car accident a few weeks before I killed my dad" I said sadly looking down.I felt Edlin  squeeze my hand making me look at her.

"I'm sorry" was all she said with a slight frown.I hate seeing her like that.I brought a smile to my face before saying "Don't worry about it,Edlin.I don't think anyone could stop what happened.maybe the drunk dude who crashed into us shouldn't of been driving" I said feeling slightly mad at the dickhead for being stupid enough to drive while drunk.

we finally arrived to her house after 10 more minutes of walking throughout the woods.she let go of my hands about to walk away when I grabbed her hand again pulling her back to face me.

"Meet me here tomorrow,okay?"I said more like a question.

smiling she entwined our fingers placing a kiss on my check making a slightly noticable red shaded color appear on my cheeks.

"see you tomorrow,Toby" she smiled letting go of my hand and walking to the back door to her house.

I turned around and began walking back to the hidden mansion in the woods.
