Jas pov:
Time skip to Saturday.
It's been all week and neither Colby or I had mentioned what we said on Monday night..It hasn't been awkward but we both just haven't talked about it and I don't think Colby has told Sam.
"Guys have you heard about the carnival that's here this week?" I asked Sam and Colby who were sitting on my living room sofa.
"Yeah, isn't it here for the weekend?" Sam said.
"Yeah it started yesterday and leaves on Monday I'm sure" I told the guys.
The guys just looked at me confused.
"SO, I was wondering do yous want to go tonight?" I asked them.
"Yeah that's a great idea" The boys said agreeing.
"Cool, so that there was even numbers for the rides and stuff I was wondering if you wanted to bring Sarah?" I asked Sam.
Sam and Sarah have been 'talking' and have been on a date and I know that he wanted to go on another with her so i thought this would be a good opportunity for him.
"Aw man that's a good idea, I will ask her the now" Sam said getting his phone out and texting her.

We sat on the sofa waiting for Sarah's reply, when she replied yes we all decided to get ready. We were at mine because we had stayed over from squad night last night. I told the guys to use the downstairs bathroom as usual and I would use the upstairs.
I walked out of the shower with my towel wrapped around me and went into my bedroom to get changed.
"Shit, sorry why does this keep on happening" I heard Colby say from the door behind me as I stood in my room naked just about to put underwear on with my back facing the door he had just stepped in.
"Omg" I shrieked as I grabbed my towel from the floor wrapping it back around me.
"I'm soo sorry" Colby apologised.
"It's fine, I really need to put a lock on every room in here, what were you doing anyway?" I laughed.
"I thought you were in the bathroom, I just thought because of last weekend, so went in here to wait on you and Sam" Colby explained.
"Aw I see, its fine, you can wait in the living room or something if you want" I told him.
"Yeah i will do that. I mean, hey, nice ass tho" Colby replied confidently jokingly.
"Colbyy" I laughed and hit his arm dragging out the 'y'.

It was 6pm and we planned the drive would only be half an hour. Sam drove with Sarah in the passenger seat and Colby and I in the back. We mainly sung to music and laughed about, Sarah was actually pretty nice and she genuinely seemed interested in Sam, I hope they work out.
Colby pov:
We arrived at the carnival on time, it was set up along the beach and made everything better aesthetically. So I decided tonight would be a good time to get my camera out, as I did that I watched Jas climb out of the car running around in front of all the colourful lights. I took a picture, capturing her silhouette in front of the lights.
"Can we go on the ferris wheel?" Jas squealed excitedly pointing to the big ride.
"Of course, lets go" I said as the four of us ran over to it.

"Only 2 people in the carts at a time please" The woman told us as she seen all 4 of us squeezing into one.
Sam and Sarah climbed into another cart, Alyx and I were left in the original one.
"This isn't a fast ride, right?" I asked preparing myself for anything.
"No it just slowly goes around showing you the view" she laughed.
I decided now would be a good time to get more pictures, I pulled out my camera and pushed against the glass wall of our cart and took some pretty good scenic pictures of the beach and the lights. I turned back around to face Alyx and she was also facing the other way looking out of the glass, I decided to take a picture of her.
She turned back around and we took a selfie to remember this ride.
"Come here" I said putting my hand out motioning for her to hold it.
She held my hand and I used it as the excuse that I wanted to take a cute picture of our hands together. But once I took the picture we didn't part hands and instead stayed like that. With a rush of adrenaline I knew what I wanted to do.
"Alyx?" I said grabbing her attention as she turned her face towards me.
I placed my hand on her leg and slowly leant in letting her lean it a bit. I then crashed our lips together. I felt a rush of happiness go through my body. That is the exact thing I've been waiting to do for the past 2years. We pulled apart as she smiled to me as we felt the ride stop and we climbed out.
We met back with Sam and Sarah and went on loads more rides. All of the rides we went on Sam sat with Sarah and i sat with Alyx, but we didn't talk about the kiss. We also grabbed something to eat and then eat a bunch of junk food like churros and candy floss. It was a pretty amazing night.

Jas pov:
We returned home from the carnival at around 10pm just after dropping Sarah off home. We all went to Sam's house to hang out for a bit.
"Where's yous family?" I asked as we walked in the house.
"Didn't i tell yous? They are away visiting my gran in Chicago for a week, they left this morning" He replied.
"And they trusted you to leave you alone here for a week?" I asked shocked
"Yeah, I guess so. I didn't want to go with them, it's boring" He said as Colby and I followed him into the living room.
"Does that mean we get to hang here everyday after school" Colby asked excitedly.
"Yupp!" Sam replied. I laughed at how excited the guys got.
As we sat down I got a notification, it was from Instagram, apparently I had been tagged in a post.
I looked at my phone to see Colby had uploaded a picture of me smiling holding my candy floss cheesing in front of the carnival lights, with the caption 'The cutest'.
I noticed he had also uploaded a picture of all 4 us from tonight and a bunch of other aesthetically pleasing pictures. I screenshoted them before returning back to the conversation.

We sat in Sam's house for around an hour before Colby and I left, walking home ourselves as it was only a street away.
"You know I really meant what I said on Monday night" Colby said as we arrived at my house driveway.
"Me too" I replied back making direct eye contact with him.
He leaned in giving me a kiss, this time it lasted longer than it did on the ferris wheel.
"Goodnight Alyx" He said as he walked out of my driveway.
"Night Colbs" I replied smiling as unlocked my door.
