"Come on, slow pokes! Let's go!" Two-Bit yelled with a loud laugh, running out of the Curtis household.

Darry shook his head, coming out after him, walking beside Dallas, who glared ahead at Two-Bit.

"Hold your horses, Two!" Darry called, turning to Dallas. "This is gonna be a long day...."

Dally gave a growl. "Why am I even doing this?"

"It'll be fun, man. Now we better catch up to him. He's already running through the street...." Darry shook his head, jogging to catch up to Two-Bit.

Dally rolled his eyes and muttered some cuss words, following after them.

"Get out of the road kid!" A truck driver shouted at Two-Bit with fury, honking his horn loudly after having to slam on the brakes.

Two-Bit jumped and couldn't help but grin, giving a wave as he darted across the street.

"Sorry Mister!" But the fifteen year old boy was laughing hysterically as he leaped to the other side.

He turned to wave at Dally and Darry with a wide smile. "Come on!"

Darry and Dally stopped at the road to wait for when it was clear, not running straight into the road like Two-Bit had.

Darry grumbled under his breath. "That kid's gonna get himself run over one of these days....."

Dally snorted, nodding in agreement. "Sure as hell he will. Dumb kid."

Two-Bit was waiting impatiently on the other side, shaking his head. "I'm gonna leave without y'all if ya don't hurry up!"

"Jus' hold up, idiot! Don't get your panties in a twist!" Dally shouted at him, scowling.

Darry shook his head as the road became clear enough and they started darting across to come to Two-Bit, who was snickering.

"Y'all are as slow as Hell. Felt like I was wasting away over here...." Two-Bit chuckled, a brow raised coolly at him.

Dally gave him a smack to his head with a low growl. "Shut up, a******." The fourteen year old warned. "We wasn't itchin' to get ourselves run over like you...."

Two-Bit laughed and started skipping away, motioning for them to follow. "Whatever. Let's jus' go!"

Darry rolled his eyes and started to follow after Two-Bit, Dallas muttering cuss words and almost reluctantly following, using some profane words to describe Two-Bit.

Two-Bit was skipping along happily, not caring who saw. "So fellas! Where we goin' today?!" He called back, too excited to slow down for them.

"HELL!" Dally shouted. "We're going to Hell! Even though we're already there...." He growled to Darry, who rolled his eyes and nodded, agreeing with him.

"Let's jus' hope his energy wears down....." Darry muttered, trying to catch up so Two-Bit wouldn't wander off. "I dunno why we're even doing this...."

"Well if we don't, Two-Bit's likely to end up getting himself killed so we better tag along with him to make sure he don't end up in the morgue....." Dal rolled his eyes.

Darry nodded, agreeing with him, trying to keep an eye on Two-Bit ahead of them.

Two-Bit skipped along happily, full of energy like always, wandering around, trying to decide where he would take Darry and Dally to hang out.
