Chapter 1

Joye's p.o.v

"Hey mom, Hey dad." I said as they walked into the house. It's been a week since they've been home.

Eva, April and I tried to have a house party on April's birthday but Auntie B came and told us to shut it down and help us clean up the somewhat mess that we made.

"Hi Joey." They both said at the same time.

"Where's Eva and April?" My dad asked.

"Up stairs." I said heading over to the stairs. I walk up the stairs and go to my room closing the door behind me.

I lay on the bed and get my phone off the night stand unplugging it from the charger. I loomed at my phone and saw that my girlfriend texted me.

Steff💋😍🌷:  Hey Joey I have to tell you something meet me at the park at 5 k?

I texted her back saying okay. I stood up and walked over to my closet getting something to wear.

I grabbed my Nike sweat pants and night sweater with my yeezy's. I walked out my room walking down the stairs and walked over to the door.

"Where are you going?" I turned around and saw that it was my dad.

"Um.. just going to the part to meet up with Steffiny." He shot me a look.

"Why?" He asked. I swear when I try to leave somewhere they ask so many questions.

"Because she wanted to meet up at the park with me." I said.

"Okay.. be back by.. hm... 8, okay?" He said.

"Okay." I said opened the door and walking out. I decided I was gonna walk so I started to walk to the park.

As I finally made it to the park i say Steffiny sitting on the bench waiting for me. I walked over to her and sat next to her giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey." I said. She didn't say anything, it sounded like she was crying. "Steffiny?" I said tapping her shoulder, she looked at me and her eyes were puffy and red.

"Joey, I don't know how to tell you this but... I'm moving to Australia soon and I really don't want to go." My heart broke as those words came out her mouth.

"You're joking right?.." I asked her, she shook her head no. "Wow.." I sat back on the bench.

"I'm sorry Joey, I really, really, really don't wanna go but they-" I cut her off.

"It's fine steff I understand." I said starting to stand up.

"Joey where are you going?" She asked.

"Home." I said starting to walk off.

"Joey!" She yelled. I ignored her and kept walking back to the house.

I walked inside the house to see my mom and dad snuggling on the couch, they both looked at the door as they heard it close.

"Oh hey joey." My mom said.

"Hi." I said head up the stairs.

I walked into my room and closed the door behind me taking off my shoes. I laid on the bed and felt my phone vibrating in my pocket.

Steff💋😍🌷: Joey I'm sorry it's not my fault.

Steff 💋😍🌷: Please answer Joey...

Steff 💋😍🌷: Joey.. Please talk to me.

I sigh and turn my phone off putting it on the night stand. As I lay my head down on the pillow I hear a knock on the door.

"It's open!" I said, my dad opened the door and closed it behind him.

"Okay spill the beans." He said.

"Steffiny's moving to Australia soon." I said.

"Oh.." He said sitting on the edge of my bed. "I know how you feel. When I was younger I had to move and I really didn't want to leave your mom but I had to." He said. "You might see her once in a while, long distance relationships work but sometimes they don't." I thought about what he said and sighed.

"But I really love Steffiny and I don't want her to go." I said. He looked at me and took a deep breath.

"Look, if she moves she moves, maybe your long distance will work but if it doesn't then it doesn't." He said.

"I'll try to make it work." I said.

"Good, now I'm gonna go back downstairs." He said standing up.

"Alright." I said. He walks out the room and closed the door behind him. I grabbed my phone and texted Steffiny.

Me: Steffiny I love you and I hope that we can keep this relationship going long distance or not, i love you.

She quickly texted me back.

Steff 💋😍🌷: I love you too Joey.

I smiled and plugged my phone up and walking over to my closet grabbing me some pajamas and changed into them laying down and falling asleep.

Ariana's p.o.v

"Is he okay now?" I asked Hayes as he sat down next to me.

"Yeah, just not stuff." He said.

I smiled and kissed Hayes, he looked and me and kissed me pulling away smiling.

"I love you Hayes Grier." I said.

"I love you too Ariana Grier."

I rest my head on his shoulder and watch the movie.
