Chapter 2

Joey p.o.v

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. I reached over and turned it off, I sat up in the process.

I walked over to the closet to grab me something to wear. I grabbed a plain black sweat shirt and some skinny jeans.

After I changed I grabbed my phone and back pack leaving the room.

"Morning Joey." My mom said.

"Morning." I said. "Where's Eva and April?" I asked her. She pointed to the door.

I walked over to the door and opened it to see Eva and April sitting on the steps.
I poked my head in the doorway and grabbed my keys.

"Eva, April let's go." I said walking over to the car with them following behind me.
We walked over to the car and unlocked the doors letting them get in the car.

After we all got in the car I drove to their schools and dropped them off at the school I went to my school.

I walked to the school and waited out side since I came kind of early today. As I waited I saw Steffiny starting to walk over to me. I stood up and started walking over to her.

As I got closer I pulled her into a hug and kiss her on the forehead. "Hi steff." I said putting a smile on her face.

"Morning Joey." She said testing her head on my chest. She yawned and put her face more into my chest. "I'm so tired." She said.

I'm still sad that she have to leave but that what her family is doing.

"I really don't want you to leave." I said testing my head on top of hers.

"I don't wanna go neither, I really wanna stay here." She said. I don't say anything I just keep my head testing on her head until they unlocked the doors to the schools.

After a while some people started to come to the school, Steff and I were sitting on the bench outside the school.

Steff and I were talking until one of her friends came up to her and said hi to her and I.

"Joey, steff!" I heard someone yell from the side of me. I looked to the side and saw it was my friend.

"Hey Johnny what's up?" I asked doing a bro handshake with him.

"Nothing much, what's up with you two?" He asked.

"I'm moving and he's sad." Steff said poking my cheek.

"Yeah." I agreed looking at him.

"Aw man that sucks Steff, I'm pretty sure everyone's gonna miss you." He said still looking at Steff. I turned to her and saw she was looking at him... something isn't right.

I just brush it off and say. "Alright their gonna unlock the doors soon so let's just go.

*after the 3 first periods.*

I walked to the lunch room because it was lunch now. I walked in there and saw Steffiny sitting at the table with her friends talking.

I walked over to their table and sat down next to Steff, I'm not gonna lie she has this Hispanic friend and she's really hot but I love steff.

"Hi Joey." All the girls said, Steff kissed my cheek.

"Hey." I responded as they started talking again. Steff and I satrted talking to each other.

After we got done talking it was time to go to out last class. I decided to walk with Steff because she had the same class as me.

We walked to the class and took our seats. Steff sat down next to her friends so I sat next to mine and started talking with them.

"Yo, Joey didn't your dad used to be a NFL player?" One of my friends asked me.

"Yeah why?" I asked.

"Nothing just asking." He said. The teacher walked into the class walking over to her desk.

"Okay class!" She yelled as the whole class got quiet and looked at her.

"Good morning and let's start the lesson." She said. Today feels weird but I just don't wanna pay attention to it.

*after school.*

After we left school I got in the car and went to go pick up Eva and April. I got in the car and started it, I didn't see Steffiny after school so I didn't say bye to her.

I drove off and went to April's school. As I pulled up I saw April hugging a boy and saying bye to him. She walked over to the car and got in.

"Hi Joey." she said putting on her seat belt.

"Who's that?" I asked and looked at her, her face started to turn and really light red.

"J-just a friend." She said, I chuckle and drove off going to Eva's school.

As we finally got to her school she was waiting outside for me. As she saw my car pull up she ran over to my car getting in.

"Hi Joey, hi April." She said doing the same as April did when she got in the car.

"Hey Eva." April and I said to her, I drove off. The car got silent for a while until we drove past my school again.

"Hey Joey... isn't that your girlfriend?" Eva asked, I turned my head and saw Steffiny kiss another guy on the lips.

My heart shatered. I got mad and kept driving.

After we finally made it to the house I walked in and didn't bother to say hi to mom and dad.

At this point I was pissed. I walked up the stairs and closed the door behind me.

I looked at my phone and saw I had a texted from somebody, I unlocked my phone and went to the texted.

(Random number): Hey Joey

Me: who is this?

(Random number): it's me Alexsis.

That's steffiny's Hispanic friend that I said was hot.

Me: oooh Hi Alexsis... how did u get my number?

(Random number): Steffiny gave it to me, I asked her for it so I can tell you something that's she's been doing for a while now.

Me: she's cheating on me, yeah I know

(Random number): how did you know?

Me: because when I drove past I saw her kiss another guy.

(Random number): I'm sorry Joey ;-; how about we meet up at the park and talk?

Me: sure.

I stood up and walked down the stairs putting a smile on my face.

"Where you going?" My dad ask.

"Just seeing a friend."
