To all the awesome people who read my books,
Hey guys! I know I am not really that active when it comes to posting on Wattpad, but that's because I've been doing this big project of editing the G.U.A.R.D. series, adding scenes, taking scenes out, and basically making it better. And, obviously, it took a long time. I also recently got the Sims 4 game, so, I mean, that got me sidetracked a lot. xD
I wrote this little letter so those who have already read G.U.A.R.D. are aware of changes I made, as well as the reasons behind. If you haven't read the series, I encourage you to do so because I really enjoy it. Thanks, guys!
What did I change? (aside from grammatical errors, adding/removing a few scenes, and all that jazz)
The names of the books. Obviously. Truthfully, I never liked the names to begin with. I mean, who wants to read a story with the name The Journey Part 1? And Guardian was really just a random thing because I didn't know what else to call it. The new titles, I actually put effort into. I thought about it, and came to the decisions. Clandestine, Aberrations, and Recusant. Cool, right?
The League of Blood is no longer referred to as "Blood," but rather "the League." I felt like this made a ton more sense considering "Blood" just really describes "the League."
I changed the song Believe into a poem called The Key. When I first started writing this series (many, many, many drafts ago), I was ten years old and obsessed with a song called Believe. That's what Believe in the G.U.A.R.D. series was based on; I changed a few lyrics to fit the story better. Anyways, I just wanted to make it more "mine" and less plagiarized (haha) so I instead wrote a poem. Some of the lines may change to fit the books better as the story progresses, but for now, The Key will stay as it is.
I took out the dogs (Blaze, Pixie, Risk, and Captain). Why? Well... they didn't really have a point. I originally incorporated them into the story to just add a few more pages, and it succeeded in doing this, but at the end of the day, the plot is more important than the number of pages.
Dustin no longer calls Ally "Capri." Yeah, it was cute and kind of endearing. I mean, he's her big brother! It's sweet. But by the fourth book, I realized she just had so many names, so he just calls her Ally.
If any of you recall, when Dustin and Jade had their "heart-to-heart" on one of the nights they spent in the forest, Jade refers to Dustin's dad as "Hudson Secret." While I always loved the symbolism of having the father's real last name as "Secret," ultimately, it just was too cheesy. Because of this, I changed it to Lockwell.
The Justice Team is no longer called that, but instead the "Elite Squad."
Will I now be posting more?
Hopefully. I won't give any promises. I'm working on the fourth installment of the series, and have been experimenting with different methods of how to handle it. I think I'm getting a feel of where I want it to go, and how to write it. So we'll see.

Thank you to all those who have stuck by me with this series thus far. I know it's taking a long time, and I apologize. I just want this to be as good as it possibly can. If you have any suggestions/comments/critiques/questions, post it down below! If you have a theory you want to share, please do! I love it when you guys comment on my stories. I would even love it if you have a suggestion for something to happen later in the book.
So I hope this clears up some things. Peace!
