Saturday afternoon, Arin entered the office, and instead of finding Dan, found Ross staring intently at his blank screen. "Hey Ross, have you seen Dan lately?" Arin questioned, unsure if the man would reply, due to his thousand yard stare.

"No, sorry, I don't think I've seen him since Wednesday," Ross replied monotonously.

"Ross, it's Saturday. Doesn't that concern you?" Arin asked incredulously. Ross looked him in the eye with a blank look.

"To be honest? No. It's been a shit-show around here ever since you and Suzy have been fighting everyday. If I could, I'd ditch this place, too," he snarled. Arin sighed.

"I-I know. Could you just, like, call him to see if he's okay?" he pleaded. Ross looked at him again and noticed how concerned he was.

"Fine. Gimme a second," he stated, pulling out his cell phone. After a minute, Ross turned to Arin with a slightly uneasy look. "He didn't pick up, let me try again." After a few more attempts to call Dan, Ross was starting to get anxious. "He still isn't picking up, I think we might wanna check in on him." He stated warily.

Arin nodded. "Yeah, that's probably a good idea." As the two began to head out, they noticed Barry looking at them gingerly.

"Hey Barry, we're gonna go check in and see if Dan's okay, wanna come with?" Ross offered.

Barry nodded and gave a sheepish smile. "Sure."

Once reaching Danny's apartment, they were relieved to find that the door was still locked, giving them hope that there wasn't some terrible break-in, but slightly skeptical. They found the spare key and unlocked the door, but once the door opened they noticed that the inside looked like it hadn't been touched in days. They searched around and didn't find Danny or a trace that he had prepared to leave for more than the day. Arin was starting to get restless, and finally expressed his fears. "Guys, wherever Dan went, I don't think he went willingly. I mean, all of his clothes are there, there aren't any missing suitcases, he left the apartment like he was planning on coming back in a few hours. I think we need to call the police." He insisted tentatively.

Ross gulped. "Yeah, I think you're right. This whole thing screams trouble." He pulled out his phone and dialed the number for the police. He told the operator that his friend had gone missing, describing the last time he saw him, and expressed that he may have been kidnapped. After he hung up, the three went back to the office and explained to everyone the situation with Dan.

Suddenly, Arin blurted out, "I remember hearing him say something about being afraid he was being follow." Ross looked at Arin stunned. Without another word, Arin left and immediately headed to the police station to tell them.
