Rosalie's POV
We arrived in the harbor of Tortuga and I couldn't help but be appalled by the vast enormity of the island port. As soon as we docked I quickly headed down the dock but a hand grabbed my arm
"Where do you think you're going love?" I heard Jack say as I was swiftly pulled around to face him. "I was wanting to see the island," I replied hesitantly. He chuckled and said, "Not by yourself you're not." and he walked past me.
We weaved in and out of the thick crowds with Will following closely behind us. We walked through an alley and right before we went in Jack turned to me and said, "Keep your head down, don't look at anyone, and stay close to me no matter what." He seemed very serious, and I didn't dare question him.
Jack put his arm around my shoulders and I put my head down and leaned into him. We started down the alley and I instantly felt wary of the surroundings. I could see people in the shadows, and they could see us too. Someone-obviously a drunk- lunged out of the shadows and tried to grab me away from Jack.
"How much-burp- for the pretty lady?" He slurred. Jack reacted quickly and pushed me into Will who pulled me away from the two men. "Not today." Jack said and quickly punched the guy who had assaulted me so hard that he fell back into the wall and went unconscious. Jack quickly pulled me back into him and dragged me out of the alley as fast as possible.
A little while later, we were walking through a better (for Tortuga) part of town. Jack walked me up to a building and said, "This is a seamstress, and a friend if mine. You can trust her." "Why am I here?" I asked. "Thought you might want to get out of that dress. The whelp and I will be back in a little bit to fetch you. Until then, don't leave here." I nodded and Will followed him away. I turned to the shop and walked inside.
A short, plump woman greeted me and started talking quickly. She ushered me into a changing room and shoved a few items of clothing in with me. I tried them on and turned to look at myself in the mirror.
The clothes that she had picked were much to my liking. Dark brown boots that ended just below the knee, simple brown tight pants, and a green shirt that had sleeves that went below my shoulders. I must say the outfit flattered my figure, and felt comfortable as well.
I situated my wavy red locks that reached the small of my back to look more presentable, paid for the clothes, and headed outside to find Jack and Will waiting for me with another short man. I walked up to them and saw their eyes widen when they saw me. "Well, if we're going to rescue my sister, we might as well get a move on. Shall we?" I said and turned and walked towards the docks. Jack, the man, and Will exchanged glances before following hurriedly behind me, and I couldn't help but smirk at their reactions.
