"Willow?!" Newt searched franticly through the shadows of the dark. Hoping, he could find the small freckled faced girl he thought was lost to him.
"Newt! Help me! Please! Newt!"
Newt spun around, trying to locate the young, scared voice. His usuall...
The greenie alarm blared, the box was coming up again, along with the unlucky boy inside. My legs carried me towards the blaring machine. When the automatic doors opened, light filled the dark enclosed space. What shocked me most was that I didn't hear the blubbering of a voice, or the usual scream, cries of help that came once a month. I didn't even see the frighted face of a teenage boy.
Instead I saw a tiny figure huddled in the corner. Covered in shadows.
Jumping down into the musty box, I walked over to the small figure. When I got close enough to the kid, a knife appeared.
Being held by a shaky hand.
I took a step back.
The knife crept out of the safety of the shadows, the smooth, sharp blade glinted dangerously in the sunlight.
"Hello?"
Silence
I hesitantly took a step forward, the person didn't move. Gingerly I grabbed the pale wrist holding the knife, taking the lethal weapon from the shaky hand. Tossing the knife to the side, I tried to pull the person by his wrist into the sunlight.
I was bitten
"Shit" The word escaped my lips, as I clenched my hand in slight pain. The figure once again huddled in the corner. I was getting annoyed with the kid.
Extremely annoyed.
"You have to come out sometime, ya bloody shank"
The figure shuffled around, fumbling with something around there neck. The small person stood at there full height, which was quite short. They took a hesitant step forward into the light.
A little girl stood there
A bloody fucking girl
Her hand was clasped on a silver locket, she wore jean shorts and a flannel shirt on a plain white shirt. She had a small red mark under her eye, as if she had been slapped a couple of days ago. Her pale face was sprinkled with freckles, as chocolate brown hair tumbled to her elbows.

"Whats down there, Newt?" Alby called. I stood there shocked, not knowing how to respond. The little girl stood there with her arms crossed in defiance. To what? I do not know.
