(Torin's POV)

'Ugh....ow...my head..'

I slowly opened my eyes, despite how heavy they felt. I tried to get up, but I felt like I was tied to something.

I saw Jayden sitting next to me, I then realized that both of us were tied to chairs. I wiggled and tried to break free, but failing in the process. 'How the hell?' I wondered to myself.

(Ugh.....what the fuck just happened.....) 'How the hell am I supposed to know?' (Hey, it's too early for your bullshit.)

Early? I looked around the concrete basement, there was a clock mounted on the wall, I turned my head to look.

2:34 AM

My eyes widened and I felt Jayden move beside me. I quickly turned to her and woke her up.

"Hey! Jayden. Wake up, c'mon!! Get up!" I frantically whispered.

She groaned in pain and her right eye blinked open, her head shot up in surprise and she winced. "Huh.....what? Ow! My head!! Ugh.... Torin? Ah...oh my god my head!" "Take it easy." I told her.

She lifted her head up and looked around, her eye widened and she started to panic.

"Oh. My. God! Where are we?!! I don't feel right!! W-why can't I move?" She asked, struggling to unbind the ropes.

"We're both tied to wooden chairs!!" I said, trying to keep my cool. Jayden gasped, and tried harder in her chair. "Torin! What do we do!!?" She asked, she started to hyperventilate, her breathing fast and uneven. "Jayden calm down, deep breaths." I comforted. She tries to breath but she refused. "Calm down Jayden, come on, breath, in and out, in and out." She followed my step and took deep breaths.

"There, you OK?" I asked. She nodded. "Good, now let's try to get outta here, we need to find a way out of this." I said.

"Okay. What's your plan?" She asked.

I think for a little bit, the ropes seem too tough and tight to break through. (Go, Torin, go!) Alterra teased. 'Screw off!' I thought for a little bit, until something came to my head.

Do I still have my hook? I heard something scratch against the wood. There it is! I have an idea!

"Jayden. I think I know how we can escape!" "What is it?" She asked, not too patiently. "Well, if we scoot close enough, I can our ropes with my hook! What do you think?"

(Jayden's POV)

"What do you think?" Torin asked me. "That's a great idea!" I said, wanting to get out of this place.

We scooted our chairs closer and Torin took his hook and carefully cut the ropes, they were really strong that it took a while to cut.

But......

We were too late.

My throat was gripped and a cold sharp item was aiming at my neck. Oh no..

(Well, well, well. It looks like we got some troublemakers in our hands. Hehehe, well. Looks like we came at the perfect time.) Sayden said.

Even though I could only see with my one eye, I had a terrified look on my face. Another voice came from the shadows.

(I see you're right there Sayden. How about we teach these two a........................... lesson.) The voice said, a girl came out with black hair and pale skin and a missing eye, like me.
