Matthew Hendrikson
My biggest responsibility is to keep my pack united. Fights break out every month and it's usually within the members of the pack. We rarely get threatened by other packs. The most action this town gets comes from the monthly yodeling contests. As long as we stay together, the Hideous voices don't matter. Not many of my wolves understand how strenuous it is to play the role of an alpha. They think it's a king's position. Despite of what they think, the pack means everything to me. However, things are soon to change after Aria arrives in three days.I hate the feeling my wolf gives me when ever I think of her name. It's as if she were here. Why does she have to be my mate? Why did I get a seventeen year old mate? Why do wolves even need mates? All those questions race through my head whenever I thing of her. I haven't seen her ever since the unexpectedly inconvenient day I smelled her. The letters I wrote to her were to make her feel less alone. I don't regret sending her to Romania. I didn't want to come across her smell while in town and everyone else thought it was a good idea to sent her away. Mates can be together, but not when it comes to a thirteen year old and a thirty year old. Four years have passed ever since. I don't plan for a marriage to change any part of me. We will wait until she turns eighteen , in three months, to marry. Falling in love is the least of my expectations. She is too young and immature for my taste
