Aria Bell
My heart is beating uncontrollably. My best friend is consolingly holding my hands.

"Aria, don't be a sad clown just put your frown upside down!" She shouted at me with a smile  and eyes wide open.

I smile as I take my eyes off her to contemplate our room. The curtains are a dark shade of purple, which doesn't help my situation. Part of the room, her part, is comfortably spacious and way more organized than my half. Her stuff animals are lined up by their cotton thickness. My half contains piled up literature from authors of little recognition. My indie music CDs are scattered all around like legos.

I turn to face her, "Camila, I am arranged to marry a man who may or may not be a potential sex offender. Doesn't it concern you?" I exclaim.

She laughs."That is not why you are nervous. You're nervous because you actually like him." She tells me with a wide smile.

My cheeks began to blush. An indelible smile appears on my face.

"Stop making assumptions!" I yell with a smile from cheek to cheek.

"Ok Pinocchio, I won't make anymore assumptions if you start packing up. It's been almost two days and you haven't even packed a single underwear ." She said while adjusting her hair tie as she got off the bed.

God, she is right! I've been too busy saying my goodbyes to the girls that I forgot to pack for myself.

My thoughts are soon interrupted by the door cracking open. "Aria, are you here ?" The voice of Mrs. Tolbert, one of the ladies who run the academy, can be heard.

"Yes, I'm here." I respond.

"Oh, good. The young men just gave us a call. He will provide a chofer to your flight first thing tomorrow. Are you set for tomorrow?" She asks while leaning against the door with both arms crossed.

"Yes, I am." I lie.

"Ok, just let me know if you need any thing." She said quietly closing the door as she left.

I turn to face Camila who now is tearing up. I get off bed to approach her with a hug.

"I'm going to miss you so much. I promise I'll constantly contact you." I say as my eyes tear up as well.

After a comforting long hug she wipes her nose with her sleeve. "Don't get nervous. I know you will do just fine. Write to me all the time." She says with a recovery smile.

Tomorrow is an impending nightmare.
